The official fighter purses for those who competed at UFC 109: "Relentless" this past Saturday night (Feb. 6) from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, were released earlier today by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).

For example, the UFC often hands out extra cash for "Fight of the Night," "Knockout of the Night" and "Submission of the Night." To check out these figures for UFC 109 go here.
The total base fighter payroll for the pay-per-view (PPV) event, which reportedly attracted a crowd of 10,687 attendees and a live gate of approximately $2.27 million, was $944,000.

fantastic superbowl
I actually jumped out of my seat when the onside kick shocked the shit out of me! Longest, most physical scrum I’ve ever seen fighting for that ball!
Great game, and Brees did a very good job. Only 7 incompletions & I think he started 3 for 7 so. Almost 300 yards striking, and the pick return for 74 yards to clinch the victory.
Slow 1st quarter sorta, but was quickly made up for and THE WHO did a great job as expected (by me anyways), and NFL sure didn’t cheap out on the set, it was a visual pleasure.

7 incompletes, started 3 for 7, AND he spiked 1 to stop the clock...MVP HANDS DOWN!!
Congrats New Orleans! A great Superbowl for the 3rd year in a row!!!!

I was surprised to see the score was 16-17 (I think)
when I woke up. I’m hating on Reggie Bush: he wins a ring & got top tap Kim Kardashian in the same night.
I couldn’t fall asleep so I played UFC on PS3 until 2:30 on exhibition mode.

getting to tap Kim after the game probably takes a lot of the pressure of the game itself off

i gotta say,
When it was 10-0 Colts and the saints wrecked it going 2 attempts to get in from the 1 or what not, and turned over on downs I was more than worried that I was gonna be seeing that as the TSN turning point later on sportscenter. Lol

Upset of the Year: John Hathaway over Diego Sanchez
I guess I could say that for Coleman as well
60k for being Couture’s punching bag for a round.

That is if Vitor loses.
As long as he believes in Jesus, he won’t lose.

Good for Serra
I’d like to see a poll though. To the few people who actually bought this card, who cared either way if Serra was on it. I was the most excited about the Sonnen/Marquardt matchup, myself. Truly, I lacked all/most enthusiasm when the main event came on. It’s hard to envision Coleman being one half of a main event for a PPV.
i cared that serra was on it, but it wasnt make or break
However I think he always is in exciting fights and has the ability to finish anyone. My buddy and I hate trigg as well and hoped to see him knocked silly, thankfully serra delivered.
So again it helped to persuade me on my purchase, but it wasn’t drastic

couture/Coleman
Say what you want about it as a main event on paper, and everyone will still be bashing Randy like usual as this is the official Anti-Randy site, but he looked fantastic and 99% of ppl called for a wall and stall decision win for Randy, and he did anything but, as he was 1 minute out of ending it in the opening 5. Very nice performance.

He attempted to wall and stall. He would have done it for 15 minutes if Coleman hadn’t expended all his energy walking to the cage.
The weather is here, I wish you were beautiful
sounds funny but its true...he looked gased at the opening bell

Coleman's physique looked as bad as ever...he looked as though he's been working on his arms only for 3 months

whatever, as usual Randy cant do anything to get a fan on this site
Could’ve KO’d Coleman first punch and it would’ve been ‘a fluke’ on here, sub’d him in 1st 2 mins and it’d have been Colemans fault, not randy’s triumph, etc etc, blah blah.

Daniel, just one question. I think Randy is very good. BUT how does beating Coleman impress you? I think you are overreacting just as much as the Randy haters.

Gracie was garbage, that was hilarious
Lost to a guy that was probably working at 7-11 a week ago! A major disgrace to the Gracie name for sure!

ya it did
I’m more excited for Wolf Man on friday, I’ll probs haul a date there on Valentines, but anyways I thought that ‘BioShock’ looked super cool. I don’t play any video games anymore, haven’t for years, but when I see a commercial like that it makes me want to buy a system lol.

elsewhere
My last 3 movies were Book of Eli, Dear John (dragged last night), and Legion.
Book of Eli was great, I recommend it for sure.
Dear John wasn’t that bad at all actually, and not too sappy. I rather liked some of the unexpected parts.
Legion was awful.

Channing Tatum cannot act to save his life. I hope you got laid for watching Dear John.

I really hope Couture gets a contender next
Could happen, it’d be the underdog story of a lifetime to see Randy get the LHW strap someday. I know Coleman’s not exactly top level competition these days, but Couture impressed me none the less with his hand speed and quickness overall. I would even be interested in seeing Couture vs the winner of Griffin/Noguera, but I think if Griffin wins that fight he should be a frontrunner for the winner of Machida/Rua. Lil Nog, (despite all of his fans who will disagree) needs to build more of a record in the UFC for a legit title shot.
