No not that bad
I thought Nate was going to win this one because he would be able to stuff Sonnens takedowns and keep it standing…… but in reality Sonnen took Nate down at will!! I wonder how the rankings will look after this?

scott1, it doesn’t matter who he trains with you can’t make everybody good at something. Sonnen won the wrestling match nothing more nothing less, nothing unreal about it at all we were just fooled as we’ve never actually seen Marquardt fight someone like that in the UFC.

what i meant was..
i expected nates wrestling to be top notch.im surprised how easy it was for chael in all fairness.and i must have been took in by nates claims hes strong enough to fight at 205.my bad.

It’s sad to say, but I woulda given the FOTN to Guillard/Torres. That was the only good back and forth fight. I think Torres shoulda won that, but it was definately close.
As much as I love Marquardt, he got dominated by Sonnen. Why does he deserve a bonus? Most of the other fights were one-sided as well, escept for Maia/Miller, but that wasn’t exciting.

Agreed Rolles Gracie looked like a bum.
No striking, no heart, no conditioning.
But did anyone else think Beltran should have pouned him out instead of looking at Herb Dean confused.
I loved watching Stann but he is absolutely helpless when a fight hits the mat. And pretty helpless and keeping a fight from hitting the mat.

Your right Dana he did look unreal.
Im not surprized he won the fight cause he is a beast, Im just surprized at how easily he did it, he smashed Nate. One thing I did notice in this fight was how much backnee Chael had, perhaps a cycle or two (just an observation). With the way he went through Yushin and Nate I would not be surprized if he was on roids, just an observation, His back is covered with acne and his pace and strenght almost seem not human agaiun just an observation that makes me think hummmmm!!!!!!1

Chael has always had cardio for days. Acutally, on second thought, If he’s been roiding recently, don’t you think his cardio would have suffered?
