why
Do haters feel it’s appropriate to bring up Brock’s name in every thread? Is he tryely on your mind that much?

Brock plays the game dell
He just says stupid shit, but remember he’s a fighter not a politician.
"He broke tim sylvia’s arm…...So what?" – Brock Lesnar
Them 2 say stupider shit than anyone else
Franklin and Couture would be much better politicians, they’re always well spoken and they know how to deal with management and the media.
"If I could change my name what would it be? Jesus"
Tito Ortiz (seriously...)
I like Lindland
He should be in the UFC

Dana "he won't Play the game.."
Translation: He refuses to sign away all rights and claims to his person, likeness, and intellectual properties in relation to MMA competition, and media interactions…"
Keep “playin the game” dana!!!!
"If we fight for money, I'll stop hitting you when you ask me to. If we fight for honor, I'll stop hitting you when i feel like it." - Rickson Gracie
ur right....
becuase companies are offering him so much money to sponsor their products!! This is coming from a Nick fan, great fighter bad PR person for any company
K dude,
We got it. Thanks. Nick Diaz is the real genius here and ALL UFC fighters are idiots for signing “away all rights and claims to his person, likeness, and intellectual properties in relation to MMA competition, and media interactions”. Ummm… does that sound right to you?
I love guys that think the UFC is draconian because they do their best to protect the business interests. If you watched the clip, cole, not playing the game actually means not re-fighting your original opponent in the emergency room later that night.

I agree with Dana
Nick is very anti-establishment…
Fedor invented a language that incorporates Sambo and Kimuras.
So next time FEDOR is kicking your ass, don't be offended or hurt, he may be just trying to tell you he likes your hat.
Can someone summarize?
I’m at work and cant watch atm…
2010:
Lesnar > [Carwin > Mir] ---> Lesnar > [Nog > Velasquez] ---> Lesnar > [JDS > GG]
he says he has a good relationship with both Diaz boys but Nick is too anti-establish to be in the UFC and gives examples such as fist fighting with Riggs at the hospital after his last UFC fight

that was a funny funny story... classic Nick Diaz.
He should have one that decision though.
But why does Dana work with guys like Melvin Guillard and not Nick? as example.
He’s just a guy who loves to fuckin’ fight. Isn’t that what Dana says about lots of dudes?
The weather is here, I wish you were beautiful
Exactly. DW bails out Page after his road rage, brings Tito back after Tito talked shit, says Kimbo sucks but brings him on TUF for ratings, etc. How is Nick any different?
Friends and lovers lie endlessly, caught in the web of duty. Only enemies speak the truth.
-Stephen King
because at least those other guys eventually cave in...Nick will be anti-"the man" till he dies

Thats what I love about him tho
He’s painfully awkward to watch in interviews but he’s true to himself and his ideals. If Nick was a rockstar he’d be John Lydon. Very intelligent, very brash and very honest.
In the words of the great man Lydon,“Take no shit from anyone….ever”
Kind of sums up Nick as a person. Plus he’s an amazing fighter. All power to him.
I don’t mind Dana white at all, I quite like him but he does play the game even though he often emulates a lot of the things Diaz does (swearing, controversy, etc, etc) Dana is kind of the Corporate Diaz equivalent in the business world. He’s wrong about Diaz, he plays the game the way it should be played, not the way Dana wants it played.

Funny comparison with Johnny Rotten, though at least Nick can back up his mouth and attitude with talent
Sex Pistols have always been overrated in my opinion, as the legendary Pete Townshend said to those boys “who are you?”
As for Diaz he should be in the UFC, sure he’s done some daft shit but if the UFC will keep convicted felons and drug addicts on their roster then I don’t see why they can’t sign Diaz. Bringing up the hospital fight was a cheap reason, the only thing that Nick has done wrong since then is smoke pot at dumb times. Dana’s just being petty there and his loss is SF’s gain.
"If I could change my name what would it be? Jesus"
Tito Ortiz (seriously...)
Agreed about Diaz totally
Disagree about the Pistols totally! They changed not only how people perceive music and being in a band but even things like independent record labels and magazines etc took off with the punk attitiude of ‘I can do it without belonging to a big corp and do it better’ God bless them.
I love The Who but Townsend is a berk. I did however find the Woodstock performance funny where he’s obviously cained on something, wearing a white boilersuit with a huge shit-stain on his arse! Classic Townsend!

Its because nick isnt in the UFC zino
Melvin isnt in strikeforce so dana would never bad mouth him lol he plays the game of ufc?
thx McArthur.
Ya Dana is right… Anyone know how many fights Nick has on his contract at Strikeforce? I would love to see him back in the UFC.
His Boxing looked amazing against Zaromskis.
2010:
Lesnar > [Carwin > Mir] ---> Lesnar > [Nog > Velasquez] ---> Lesnar > [JDS > GG]
Yeah he would add depth for sure
i would love to see who is the better fighter now between him and Diego.

I think nick should be in the ufc and if he does go he should fight a top contender a thiago alves or paul daley those fights would be amazing and if he wins give him gsp
good call

What kind of MMA fan hates the UFC? LMAO
The most watched MMA organization in the world, with the best fighters hands down and more fights every year than all the organizations combined. C’mon only foolish MMA fans, critics and boxers would hate the UFC. A structured organization that fmakes the best go against the best compared to boxing were the top fighters choose and pick their battle?

You're just pissed at the verbage Dana used
There is no game. Behave Nick, you fucking dumbass! Don’t get into fights outside of the Octagon. That’s just crazy! Effing don’t smoke weed 3 months before a fight! That’s not that hard if it’s your effing job!
BTW, I love Nick. I have his quotes as a sig on every forum I’m on. He’s not a stupid dude. He’s a dumbass but definitely has some intelligence. Just no gotdamn sense.

It's the politics of the company that folks have an issue with.
Dana talks about how he wants a guy to be a fighter, but he’s FOS.
The image up on the video before you hit play looks like Dana talkin about his penis
Fedor played Russian Roulette with a fully loaded gun and won.
AMERICA.....FUCK YEAH
I Have Nick in my Top 10 p4p.
But I think he should stay in SF. He can fluctuate weights there and I think thats what makes him so damn good.
Well if he came to the ufc you would figure out he isn't top 10 p4p
He’s probably not even a top 5 ww, he can stay in strikeforce and get wins over guys like frank shamrock and scott smith so you can think he is a p4p great.
Actually.
I would still think so since has fought UFC guys already, and at the age and career level he was at he didnt do so bad and he had grown leaps and bounds. He still demolished Gomi when Gomi was in his prime. So at 160 Diaz is a bad ass. At 170 the same. at 185 as well.
