UFC President Dana White confirms the recent statement from WEC General Manager Reed Harris that former light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell required an intervention to quell his extravagant social life. Tito Ortiz dropped the apparently inaccurate nugget in an interview to promote the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), which is scheduled to debut on Spike TV on March 31. "Iceman" and "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" -- who have a tumultuous personal history, as well as two fights between them -- have been tapped as coaches. Is it any surprise that we are already being inundated with trash talk material? Did Tito go too far this time around or is it just par for the course?

Yeah, he’s bringing Jenna in to give everyone a seminar on how to most effectively tongue your bosses’ cornchute. Apparently it was those new-found skills that made Tito’s reconcilation with Dana go so smoothly.

I'm satisfied as long as they don't put us through the same thing again.
It would be the most frustrating thing ever to see these guys bash eachother back and forth in media with Dana involved again, just hope it’s cool after the fight.

mma guru, i’m not making any excuses at all. what i said is true, no matter who it is after 18 months and surgery you need actual fight time to get comfortable again and more than 1 training camp, he was gassed in that 3rd round.
yeah it’s Chuck Liddell, the guy has been KO’d several times and has been out for some time, who knows what to expect i can def see a Tito win if he takes Chuck into rd 2 or 3.

For His Entire Career...
…Tito’s talent has never once matched his talk or hype-creating ability. He sells tickets because of his WWE-type antics. Once in the octagon, he’s a middle-tier fighter at best.

Tito never lost a fight to someone who couldn’t be argued as the best fighter in the world at the time in the weight class, ever, and holds the record for title defenses. Spare me the tired career assassination about how those five fights don’t count.
Anyway, it’s obvious Chuck Liddell had a serious substance abuse problem that shortened his career. He went from the baddest man on the planet to a knockout prone has been within months after all the falling asleep on air and being coked out/drunk out of his mind appearances at mma events type stuff started happening.
Why Chuck gets a pass on that, I don’t know.
