The guy is a natural born fighter
He made a really good point in an interview the other day, the new up and coming guys grew up with this thing and have always aspired to it.
He didn’t grow up aspiring to fight in MMA he just ended up doing it in local shows because he wrestled well at high school and could earn money, his first pro fight was in his home town aged 21 at a small local show. When he left high school he wanted to be a pro wrestler… he didn’t have a great education, ended up working construction for a while… really he just fell in to this thing and he has achieved an awful lot, he is driven by money, but in terms of fighting, that’s always been the case, and he’s never tried to make a secret of it. I respect Rampage for being just a naturally vicious fighter and pretty much a self made man. He doesn’t owe anybody anything, and I’m always glad to watch him fight because he is a rare bread, the kind of guy that is just naturally good at fucking people up without having to work very hard.

I like Rashad too, I actually think he seems a cool guy. Those two between them are probably the two most hated on LHWs, throw Forrest in with that as well. And I actually quite like him too. His book was hilarious, I think alot of people just take him the wrong way.

how could he not not come in shape against Rashad.
there is just noway after all the talk and beef that’s been going on between those two. Rashad isn’t technical enough to make Rampage pay for his time away from the octagon, this is the highest level and to think Shad would win on outworking Rampage is reaching for something that’s not there.

i was watching closely…the refs were canadian…and canadians lie and cheat….they werent playin fair…when they redid the ice for overtime i could tell the ice was different afterwards….the americans were slipping and sliding more….the canadians were not, so i conclude the canadian team were given advance notice of the conditions that the ice was gonna be in when they came back out…and they were able to adapt…while this information was withheld from the americans…

This is how I forecast the fight to go...
Rashad first round will keep distance, dance around the ring and kick lumps out Rampage’s legs. In 2nd round, as they clinch Rashad will get a takedown and wear Rampage out, 3rd round Rampage will go for haymakers and connect with 1 stumbling Rashad but too worn out to capatalise much like Thiago Silva. So I’m going for Rashad by Decision, either split or unianimous

One thing...
Shad doesn’t have the leg kicks that Forrest has. I also think Rampage has much better takedown defense then Thiago and Forrest. RAmpage also has much better boxing and wrestling then Thiago and Forrest. So actually that was 4 things Shads 1-lack of leg kicks 2-Rampages takedown defense 3-Rampages better wrestling then Thiago and Forrest 4- Rampages better Boxing then Rashad, Forrest, and Thiago. I think personally Rampage is going to KO RAshad. His chin can’t take Rampage’s power. Thiago had nothing left and allmost KO’d him and had he had an once of gas he would have finished him off instead of letting him recover. Rampage will not let him recover. Rashads strengths is going to be in grinding out a wrestling match, the way he started with Thiago. Problem was he couldn’t hold Thiago down. Will Rampage be able to get up as easily as Thiago? Will Shad be able to avoid the big exchanges and hands in order to secure the takedowns? IF so they he can ride out a decision. As far as him KO’ing or TKO’ing Rampage, he has a better chance of making a million dollars at his next fight!
