MFC 24 weigh in results for 'Heat XC' on Feb. 26

MFC 24: "Heat XC" is set to go down tomorrow night (Feb. 26) at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Alberta, Canada. Earlier today the 18 fighters on the card tipped the scales for the official fighter weigh-ins.

UFC veteran lightweights Yves Edwards and Derrick Noble will headline the event in a battle of two grizzled veterans who are both coming off back-to-back wins. Both main event participants were successful in making their 156-pound division limit.

A few other fighters on the card weren't as precise with their weight cutting measures though.

MMA journeyman Travis Galbraith missed his mark by a half a pound for a middleweight contest opposite Tom Watson. The Canadian native will forfeit a quarter of his purse.

Undercard fighters Eric Chouinard and Zach Blaber were each a pound heavy for their light heavyweight tilt. However, the two men agreed to go ahead with the fight at a catchweight of 207 pounds.

And finally, Elliot Duff, another undercard fighter, came in a full seven pounds over the 186-pound division limit for his middleweight bout with Jason Gorny. He will also forfeit a quarter of his pay for the fight.

Check out the full weigh-in results for "Heat XC" below:

MFC

MFC is usually on HDnet…and it’s a good live quality show. Great fighters, very hungry and good production value. This one is not on HDnet, but HDnet have a ton of live fights coming up next month. Here’s just a few: http://www.hdnetfights.com/events.php

MFC

The MFC WILL be on HDnet. Although it’s not on the events page yet, I did find a news article on HDnet to confirm that fact here:
