Strikeforce: Gegard Mousasi not really impressed with 'King' Mo Lawal's performance (Video)
Maybe he's been hanging out with Georges a bit too much lately:

his ape technique will get Mo down!
i still think he’s got a very weak looking chin and jaw (like cro cop). not a fighters face.
it's all about don frye
Mo's in over his head
Big step up in comp for Mo; I don’t think he’s got the fight experience yet to deal with Mousasi. I’ll take Gegard by UD; I think Mo will be tough enough to hang in there; clinch and save himself from getting TKO’d but beyond that I don’t see much else happening.

I like King Mo and wanted to see him against tougher competition
But this is too big a step too soon. He should have fought a top 20 guy before jumping in with a top 5 guy. Oh Well, I guess there isn’t a lot of choices for fights at SF.
Fact: TUF has produced more UFC Champions than the purchase of PRIDE has.
Wow Jay
Your quote about TUF & Pride champs is crazy when you stop and think lol
"He got to the championship a couple times but choked…no literally, he got choked..... twice." - Matt Serra talking about Frank Trigg
I don't even know if it is true. I lost a bet on the MM/Lawlor fight.
I think it is though. Spider was in the UFC before the purchase wasn’t he? Even if he wasn’t I think TUF still wins.

I am trying to think back now....
TUF had Forrest, Rashad & Serra…
Pride had Rampage & Spider if you count him….
So yea that is pretty hilarious lol

AND, look how many guys go through TUF per season; out of the HUNDREDS that have come and gone
you got 3 champs… UFC Signs; Herring, Wanderlei, Nog, Page, Cro Cop, Nakamura, Uno, Okami; maybe I’m missing one or two; but basically out of 10-12 guys they got from pride 3 have held the strap.

Nog only had an interim belt, doesn't count.

Still more a Champ than Serra, Forrest or Rashad;
NO successful title defense from any of the TUF fighters.

The quote has nothing to do with successful title defenses
Just admit it is true OD. TUF has produced 3 Champs and Pride produced 1. Page defended his belt once, to an undersized PRIDE Champ.

Not sure what your overall point is; the quality of fighters garnered from Pride is better than what they've gotten off the TUF show
Regardless of your champion comparison..

Hundreds?
O damn, you talk about hundreds of fighters going thru TUF but choose a selection of 10-12 Pride guys. There were hundreds more Pride fighters than TUF contestants. If you want to go off total number of fighters, then TUF still wins the argument since most Pride lesser fighters ever were recruited to the UFC, like eliminated TUFers. You know not all of them were going to amount to anything.

the comparison was..
Between TUF contestants vs the PURCHASE of Pride; not all Pride fighters to ever fight in Pride; very few from Pride ended up with a contract with the UFC and more still didn’t WANT to go to the UFC (especially the Japanese/european fighters). They signed like 12 fighters from Pride when they bought the company. Compare that to how many guys went through TUF.

lol
lol at how he casually bashes Brock Lesnar. He’s like MMA Records don’t mean anything, implying that Brock Lesnar is a BS Champion.
Did I get that right?
no
he wasn’t bashing brock, he meant that you cant tell much by looking at someones record, for instance, if you look at Brock’s record, it doesn’t look very much, but he’s one of the most formiddable guys in the sport.
"OH GOD THAT'S DISGUSTING! HE BROKE HIS FREAKIN' ARM"
"hey man that's the business, we're not figure skating"
In the name of the Fedor, the Anderson and the GSP. Amen.

If anything I see it as a complement
Referring to Brock as THE heavyweight champ when he is close with Fedor and managed by M1.

I see a win for Mousasi
At this point in his career Hendo still has ko power but this guy is younger, faster, stronger, much more of a true mixed martial artist. But Hendo definitely has enough left to give him a tough fight, no doubt.
Calu
I like Mousasi in this fight
Obviously both guys are very confident. But one is more of a talker that really doesn’t have the resume yet to back it up. I hope Mo does his stupid Phil Baroni entrance and goes down in flames. Some people will be impressed with the entrance, I will be impressed with the fight results. One guy is in this for the fame and the other guy just wants to be the best fighter. Big difference in the two guys.
Mousasi FTW.
court jester mo hasn’t shown anything yet that would indicate he is even remotely ready for a fight like this. he’s done nothing to earn it. he has beaten no one and has looked mediocre in doing so. victory for mousasi.
