Especially right now because I'm in really good shape and I'm looking forward to this fight. [Rothwell's] very good with his ground and pound as you saw with his fight against Arlovski, but I'm not afraid. Even if we go to the ground, I will manage -- but I don't think it will go to the ground."
Famed heavyweight striker Mirko Filipovic prepares for Ben Rothwell at UFC 110 from the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia, this Saturday (Feb. 21). "Cro Cop" is coming off a submission (verbal) loss to Junior dos Santos at UFC 103 last September -- his third loss inside the Octagon in five attempts — a far cry from the world beater who was scalping his opponents just three years ago under the Pride banner. In fact, he has not defeated a top-level fighter since he made Josh Barnett quit at "Final Conflict Absolute," which earned him the Pride FC 2006 Open Weight Grand Prix Championship. Can he return to form in Sydney? Or is it time for the Croat to finally call it a career?

Tough fight to call
As always, I’m going with Cro Cop, but Ben at 265 lbs is exactly the type of guy he’s been having problems with. Big strikers that can get him back peddaling and fighting defensive. If he’s even half way aggressive in this fight he could KO Rothwell; I just don’t think he’s over the mental lapse he’s having of late. You can see it in his eyes; he’s struggling to pull the trigger in there, can’t let it all go for some reason. That said; even in his current state, Cro Cop is still a better striker than Rothwell.

Come on guys
There is a lot of blind faith floating around here. Cro-cop is more done than hooker at a batchelor party.
He looked so uninterested when fighting Dos Santos, he looked scared and like his heart had gone. Big ben is no joke and I have got money on him ending Cro-cops career.
He is in it for one more $250k paycheck and then he will be cut and bugger off to fight cans in Dream.

CC doesn't need to fight for the money...
He’s in the same position as Wand and Couture, they’re all in it for sport. And seriously… even on a bad day he’s a better technical striker than Rothwell; CC’s problems aren’t physical, they’re all mental. He’s still got the skills/reflex’s to compete and even though Rothwell’s a tough guy, it’s not like he’s been all that impressive either as of late.

Still – He beats up rothwell on the feet while rothweel desperately tries to clinch and maul him against he fence. Ben’s simply too slow to catch him as he circles off.
