UFC newcomers Jason High and Charlie Brenneman set to battle at UFC Fight Night 21

Newly signed UFC welterweights Jason High and Charlie Brenneman have agreed to fight at UFC Fight Night 21 from Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, N.C., on March 31.

High tweeted the news earlier today.

"The Kansas City Bandit," owner of a 9-2 career record, was last seen in action competing under the DREAM banner where he fell victim to a highlight reel head kick knockout courtesy of Marius Zaromskis.

Prior to that bout, High upset Brazilian jui-jitsu ace Andre Galvao at DREAM 10. High also competed on the Affliction: Day of Reckoning card, getting put to sleep by Jay Hieron.

Brenneman (10-1) will bring a strong wrestling base to his Octagon debut. The AMA product, home of brothers Dan and Jim Miller, is a veteran of ShoXC and Ring of Combat, though his claim to fame to this point in his career may just be the fact that he won the first season of Spike TV's "Pros vs. Joes" reality show competition.

UFC Fight Night 21 will serve as the lead-in for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 11 with coaches Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz. The card is set to be headlined by an intriguing lightweight match up between top contender Kenny Florian and former Pride FC lightweight champion Takanori Gomi.
