Quoteworthy:

"I’ve been back and forth, back and forth. The lawyers are going back and forth, back and forth. We’ve already been in touch with the State Department about calling the Kremlin and giving us a hand to finish this contract. I think we might have to go through the government to get this thing done. In all seriousness, I think we’ll have something to announce here real soon. All I can tell you is we’re closer than we’ve ever been. I look forward to Fedor fighting. I believe he’ll be fighting in the first quarter of next year."

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker has a humorous perspective regarding the last fight on Fedor Emelianenko's contract, which he hopes to fulfill in the first quarter of 2011. "The Last Emperor" has not competed since a stunning June 2010 loss to Fabricio Werdum on the Showtime network in San Jose. If and when the former PRIDE champ gets back into the Strikeforce cage, will it be against "Vai Cavalo," division champion Alistair Overeem or heavyweight contender "Bigfoot" Silva? Which fight do you find most intriguing?
