Chael Sonnen has been taking testosterone injections since 2008. That means ever since the mws from the wec were folded into the ufc. Now even if it's true that this is a procedure prescribed by a doctor, the fact is it's against the rules to take it. This shouldn't be about whether you like sonnen or not. This is about a man who's body cannot withstand the sport of mma without these injections. His doctor stated that he would not be able to compete without it.. It might seem harsh but too bad. If my body doesn't make me naturally strong or fast enough, is it ok for me to take illegal supplements to even the playing field? How many of you out there would rather be in the NFL,NBA,or UFC right now? For most people, you can't compete at the highest levels of sport because of something natural such as height, agility, speed. No matter how hard you try, most people will never be able to run a 4.2 40 yard dash. Maybe his body doesn't produce enough testosterone. Maybe he would need testosterone injections just to get through regular life. But I'm sure he needs a bigger dose to compete at the highest levels of MMA. And that gives him an unfair advantage. It sucks for him. But it sucked for alot of people when they realized they wouldn't be the best at the sport that they played. Every thing that he's done since 08 is tainted and it would be a shame for him to be rewarded with a title shot or a season of TUF.What do you guys think?
