I will be looking forward to this one. Hope Overeem knocks Duffee out. Became a much bigger fan of Overeem after watching “The Reem”. Hope they make a part 2. Duffee could become pretty popular in Japan. The fans seem to be all about these ripped out fighters. Lashely could be pretty big over there as well.
The best that roids can make!
It’s sad everyone has to take steroids these days because our air, food, and water are filled with estrogens. But no one cares about that, or if we have to pay 40 percent in taxes. As long as we get to watch the game or fight on the television.

todd duffee doesn't on roids he's on testosterone replacement
todd duffee is allowed to use testerone replacemant these days. he needs it because he doesn’t produce enough testosterone from the shrunken balls he got from taking steroids

This is more like a body building comp...........
To the little Japanese audience, this is going to look like two beasts going at it, this could turn out to be a good fight in fairness……..anything can happen in MMA, Geno, what time is it at where you are……Your up late?

I hope duffee wins.
Overeem doesn’t fight top comp in America for a reason. Could it be the roids or the fact that he’s more of a shit talker then a guy who steps up?
So glad we don't have to see James Toney's fatass anymore.
that argument is old
The reason he hasnt fought top competition is because nobody on SF roster wants to fight him.
So he keeps himself busy by fighting the best strikers in the wordl
And i dont know when he recently has talked shit or when he has been caught by roids ?
Edson Barboza and Charles Oliveira are gonna stir up the pot at 155!

He fights in Japan for a reason dude.
you think fighting Brett Rogers and looking way smaller proves anyhting for him?
Yeah that what I though.
So glad we don't have to see James Toney's fatass anymore.
He looked pretty Goddamn big to me.

Pain don't hurt...
Alistair fought Buentello in 2007 for SF. And Brett Rogers in 2010 here in the states as well. He has fought in America however K1 pays him a lot and he has taken a liking to kickboxing. I dont blame his decision making one bit
by AintNoSunshine on Dec 30, 2010 10:34 AM EST up reply actions
I dont blame him for that either
But the fact some people think he is a top 5 hw in mma is laughable, he isn’t even top 10. He hasn’t beaten anyone worth a shit in mma. Every good fighter he has faced in mma has put him away and most of them are lhw. His hw resume is pathetic, Tim sylvia has a more impressive one. The fact he is wearing that piece of trash stikefarce calls a belt is an even bigger joke.
You are an idiot.....
If you follow this sport with any sort of common sense, then you would understand why Overeem is fighting in Japan. The guy is 30 years old, these are his prime years to make money…. the MONEY is in Japan for him right now.
The guy just won the K1 grand prix, he is a mega star in Japan and he is making two to three times more money than if he was fighting here in the states.
Put yourself in his shoes, would you try to make more money? or take the fights in the states for less$$ just to please internet jocks like you???
If Strikeforce or M1 would have offered Overeem the Fedor fight, he would have been all over it. He wants to fight the best, and Fedor is the best fight that Strikeforce can offer.
Fedor’s management wants no part of THE REEM.
I think Alistair is the number 3 heavyweight in the world right behind Cain and JDS. He would rape Carwin, Brock, Nelson. I would pay top dollar to see Alistair fight JDS or Cain….. He is the real deal right now.
good post

Duffee's chin and jaw
Just asked to be punched, Todd Duffee is talented and very smart to take this fight but Overeem will hurt him bad.

Duffee has been KO’d once. Lets be easy on the chin talk.

I was not talking about that he has a suspect chin. But his jawline and chin looks weird and very hittable

Doffee looks scared and in owe of The Reem
Alistair will just need to knock this guy out cold as he dives in for the take down. Lights out second minute of the fight
look at Duffee when he was told its for the belt :)

smart to take fight but
It is smart of duffee to take the fight just to get his name out there more but I see it not going good for him. He flies out 3 days in advance. It takes a day and a half to recover from that jet lag and another day extra day to get his sleep patterns right. He may be pumped up for the fight mentally but I dont think his body will be ready
It's Japan though...
