Diario Popular brings word that Chute Boxe prospect Maiquel Falcão, who recently debuted at UFC 123 with a victory over Gerald Harris, was arrested today in Pelotas, South of Brazil by local police.
Falcao was reportedly arrested due to a warrant stemming from an assault charge of a woman outside a nightclub in 2002.
He was originally sentenced to house arrest in 2002 for a period of 24 months. He is currently being held in jail pending resolution of this issue.
