Quoteworthy:

"He poses some problems, but I'm confident I'm going to get him ... I think it's perfect, this is what I need. He's a guy who's ranked top 10 in the world by most everybody. These are the type of fights to get that title shot and that's what I want. Once people start getting familiar with the 145-pounders, it's going to blow up. It's the most exciting weight class to watch."

Former WEC Featherweight Champion Mike Brown returns to the Octagon at UFC 125 this Saturday night (Jan. 1) in Las Vegas as he tries to get back into 145-pound title contention against Diego Nunes on the event's preliminary card. The butcher of Bonny Eagle competed once under the UFC banner in a submission loss to Genki Sudo at UFC 47 way back in April 2004. Will Brown make a successful return on New Year's Day? Or will "The Gun" fire him from the divisional standings?
