But would that dream become a nightmare against some of today's top heavyweights?

Pedro Rizzo VS Steffan Strueve
I know Dana said Steffan was in the mix… but i hope he didn’t mean Top 4 mix…. wait until he can put on some muscle n weight…. and defend better against wrestlers and pack some power in his punches….
lets Get Rizzo back in….. ‘slowly’…
I wouldn't mind
Rizzo isn’t TOP 10 anymore, but he’s exciting and I bet he’d still KO most of the low-mid tier UFC HWs. I’d love to see him fight CroCop! But I think there are more interesting and evenly matched contests for him at SF, doing what he’s been doing, beating up other big names from his generation.
He certainly had a helluva career in his day! He KOd Arlovski, Barnett, Monson, TK, and Tank, tapped out Dan Severn, and beat Coleman and Ricco. That’s wins over 5 UFC HW champions. Not bad if you ask me!

I don't see the harm
Pedro has won his last 3 and is 5-2 in recent years against other former UFC greats. He and Vitor were the stars of the last UFC Brazil, with their dramatic KOs of Tank and Wandy. I don’t see any harm in throwing The Rock and the Brazillian fans a bone for old-time’s sake. And if Vitor loses to AS, I think the return to Brazil should include::
VITOR vs WANDERLEI 2
I guarantee you nobody in Brazil has forgotten that epic hightlight-reel match from 12 years ago and I can’t think of a better tribute to UFC BRAZIL.

Letting nostalgia get the better of you man
Pedro was GREAT back in the day but now hes poor. He’s had some terrible KO’s in the last few years too.
i see it like Ian Freeman wanting to get on the next English UFC event. He’s won 5 of his last six and became the Cage Rage champ in his last fight but I wouldnt want to pay good money to watch that.
Keep both bones….

his only losses in recent years...
were to Barnett who many still consider TOP 5, and Gilbert Yvel who is famous for his ability to KO anyone on any given night.

I know you know this is a non starter dude
He hasn’t beaten significant competition since 2003
