That guy loves to be famous

Dana fucking white… why he always has to be in the middle of the 2 fighters face off? He wants to appear in every picture, and be a super star. He wants to be more famous than the fighters lol. That fat bald bastard should be a normal business man, like Lorenzo.

You really think Dana stands in the middle of face offs for attention? I always understood his just liked the excitement. Shit I would love to be in between every fighter face off.

ANS - for the record, I appreciate what DW has done for MMA. I am not a hater of his but : he clearly wants to be in the middle of everything UFC related and be the figurehead for MMA and not his fighters.

I bet you more people know who he is as opposed to who GSP is…

The real question : is it by design or by whim? I think its both.

Have to agree with OJR here, he loves being in the spotlight, but in his defense he is part of the UFC brand,

he’s sticking to the plan they formed long ago, too late to turn back now.

I’m pretty sure that’s what Al-Qaeda and Nazi supporters said.

i don't like it, but it's working.

I guess.

My point is that the “too late to turn back” excuse is empty rhetoric which can be used to justify any immoral or self-serving action.

In my view Dana could extricate himself somewhat from the public eye and the UFC would be just as (if not more) successful, especially to the older fanbase that are turned off by his shameless arrrogance.

But hey, I’m sure it’s an addictive experience and he wants to milk it for all it’s worth. Good for him — but he has to accept the legitimate criticisms which accompany that decision.

Do you really think they would do better?

The formula may turn you and I off, but it seems to be working, the casuals eat it up.

They’ve levelled off. If Dana really aspires to put the sport into mainstream appeal, he has to be willing to class it up a bit and up the production values. The product looks virtually identical to the way it looked six years ago, when it was barely breaking even. The death metal, Buffer, Goldberg… it just feels tired to me.

agree 100% on the production, im sick of the sandals, death meatal and goldie.

But as much as dana rubs me the wrong way there’s a lot more i feel they should change before they decrease his role. I view him a lot like i view brock, a large percentage of the hardcores can’t stand him, but the casulas eat him up.

The age of scat films and ass-to-mouth has really put a dent in Playboys’ jerkability factor amongst the average perv.

Or so I’ve read.

Believe it or not, I actually read this

That somehow they airbrush the shit out of even the good photos (i.e. the Arianny pics that DIDN’T end up in the actual November 2010 issue), and reading the critiques/notes-of-where-and-what-to-edit from the photos…

… well, let’s just say that their take on sexuality and in particular the definition of a physically attractive woman? It’s hurt their market share.

Ava Devine was on her way to legend status

But for the longest time she just would not SHUT THE FUCK UP… it actually became distracting.

I don’t know what’s happened to make her so quiet in 2010 (and 2009?).

by Chortles on Dec 18, 2010 5:35 AM EST up reply actions

Yea i remember her. She's the Asian one right?

Yea she was hot and had really good scenes but ur right her moaning was so freaking annoying. It was so freaking distracting it would kill ur masturbation mude.
