The 2nd installment of "Fans Interview Fighters" will feature Ryan Couture. Congratulations to Ulf for guessing correctly on the Daniel Cormier thread. Ryan is currently recovering from a staph infection which caused the cancellation of his 2nd professional bout. He was victorious in his first professional fight with Strikeforce, securing a victory over Lucas Stark via submission in the 1st round. Ryan has a big name and a bright future in the sport of MMA, obviously this may warrant some questions regarding Randy, but I ask that we keep those to minimum and focus the majority of the interview on Ryan's career and his opinions of the sport.
I felt the 1st interview with Daniel Cormier went very well. It was very hard for me to narrow down the questions and keep the interview short enough to respect Daniel's time, but also show respect to you all for the quality of questions you produced. To anyone who was left out I sincerely apologize as there were multiple questions I second guessed not including. Despite an overall feeling of a job well done, I still feel there is room for improvement. I only received one negative comment from the most respected journalist on sbnation, which he has since retracted, and I want to make it clear that I am welcoming any idea's to improve this. This is all of ours and I feel it's something we can collectively enjoy and take pride in. As I said in the original thread, many of us complain about the media's coverage of MMA and this is our chance to make a difference ourselves. Any feedback will be appreciated, and if you have suggestions of fighters please include their contact information, I have already contacted the fighters whose information I have.
One rule - please post your question in the form of a question so I can simply copy and paste it without having to edit your thoughts, also include the entire question in the body of the comment, not half in the title and half in the body as they then copy into different fonts.
Lastly if you have one specific question that you want asked it will have a lot better chance of getting in if you just post that one question only, if you post 5 questions I have no idea which one you felt was your strongest.
