UFC 123: 'Rampage vs Machida' prelims broadcast draws 1.5 million viewers on Spike TV
Spike TV's "UFC Prelims" special for UFC 123: "Rampage vs. Machida" on Nov. 20 drew 1.5 million viewers, the same number it pulled in for UFC 121: "Lesnar vs. Velasquez" just last month in Anaheim.
The two-fight broadcast from the Palace of Auburn Hills in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, featured Brian Foster choking out fellow welterweight Matt "The Immortal" Brown while the "Philippine Wrecking Machine," Mark Munoz, out-pointed the venerable Aaron "A-Train" Simpson.
"UFC Prelims" pulled a 1.1 household rating including a 1.31 rating among men 18-49 and a 1.21 among men 18-34.

wonder why...
the numbers were as good as the previous offering. I don’t think this PPV was as anticipated. Perhaps had to do with the matchups? I liked the matchups for this one better.
Muñoz is the "Filipino" Wrecking Machine and not the "Philippine Wrecking Machine"
I sleep well, I dream of Arianny Celeste, Brandon Vera and Hector Echervarria's worst acting.
The Machida-Rampage fight not only exposed the faults of MMA judging but also the one-dimesional fighter that Rampage is.
