Roy Nelson was defeated by Jeff Monson on Mar. 21, 2009. Little did "Big Country" know that the loss wouldn't be the only setback he'd suffer under Square Ring Promotions. Earlier this month, UFC President Dana White announced that Nelson's contract with Square Ring Promotions, owned by boxing legend Roy Jones Jr., has put his UFC career on hold.
