Want 10k for damages so far. There must be more to it than that though, or you’d think Dana would just dock 10k from Nelson’s next fight and pay it already.
I wish there was more clarity, but Dana just keeps saying how shitty these shady contracts are rather then tell us what he has to do. He also didn’t rule out that we may not see Nelson again, so that’s sketchy too, cause normal Dana would have just said
“Listen, the reality is if I want Roy Nelson to fight, he’ll be fucking fighting alright? I mean these guys don’t understand, this kid got himself in some deep shit, but if the UFC wants Roy Nelson, we’ll get him.”

I think the implication of the question is whether Dana thought BJ would decide to be done, not get cut.

Dana was asked if bj would be cut if he lost again making it 3 in a row. Reply was that he felt bj would quit first before he got cut, to me that implies the ufc wouldn’t cut bj

Well...
The exact wording was, “Is there a chance that if BJ loses this fight that his days in the UFC might be over?” Apparently some people were interpreting that as asking if he would be cut. The question (IMO) was too ambiguous to jump to that conclusion, and Dana’s answer didn’t imply that they had even thought about cutting BJ either. Therefore I concluded that nobody was talking about cutting BJ.
I hate BJ and I think cutting him would be a terrible idea, so I really don’t see that happening either.
I got the impression his question was about cutting BJ because why would Dana say that BJ would retire before he would no longer be in the UFC? If he was referring to him being done, Dana mentioning retirement would be redundant, because he was pointing out that BJ would retire before he left the UFC. So I conclude Ariel was talking about cutting BJ and that is how Dana interpreted it as well.
