"The dude that slammed that dude" is expecting a standup battle with "Big Rig."
"He's coming in there to take your head off, not a lot of technique involved. His main strength is trying to stand up and beat you down. They just call me 'the dude that slammed that dude.' That's all they say. 'Hey, you're the guy who slammed that guy on ESPN!' It's funny. I love having moments where people remember. I think it's great for the sport. It helps develop some new fans, because some people who saw it didn't know what MMA was before that. If I can drag in a couple new fans, I love it."
Surging middleweight Gerald Harris will look to extend his winning streak to 11 when he meets promotion newcomer Maiquel Falcao at UFC 123 on Nov. 20 in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Harris tells MMA Fighting he believes the bout will have little technique and a ton of action. In his last bout, Harris defeated Dave Branch with a vicious KO slam at UFC 116. Falcao will be looking to extend his own winning streak to eight. Will the "Hurricane" improve his record to 18-2? Or will "Big Rig" stop Harris in his tracks? Let's hear some predictions, Maniacs.
