"I hate to lose and this fight, for me, is to recover myself mentally. I need this win just to be more confident and to get back my game. (In regards to the Jon Jones fight) I was just taking a little...too long to get out of that position and he took advantage of it. You can't really do that. If you get in that position, you have to get right back. It's a recipe for success."
After going on a three fight winning streak where he defeated Jason Lambert, Igor Pokrajac and Eliot Marshall, Vladimir Matyushenko was dominated by top light heavyweight prospect Jon Jones. Matyushenko will get a chance to redeem himself tomorrow night (Nov. 13) when he battles UFC newcomer Alexandre Ferreira. Can "The Janitor" rebound from his quick loss to Jones? Or will Ferreira mop the floor with Matyushenko?
