Pay to play?
Zuffa reportedly contributes upwards of $75,000 to the campaign of governor’s office candidate Andrew Cuomo.
Could his election be the key to unlocking New York sanctioning? Not if Assemblyman Bob Reilly has anything to say about it.

$75,000
Isn’t that 10 times the fight payout for many of their fighters? I want to see the UFC in NYC, I understand the UFC is a buisness and I cannot fault a person for choosing their own path and if they decide to go to the UFC and get payed a low salary that is their choice but I think it is time the UFC started paying a little better. I really do mean a little better, nothing drastic.
For some more info on this here is The Fight Lawyer looking in to it here: http://www.fightlawyerblog.com/2010/10/zuffas-support-of-cuomo-does-it-really.html
Just BE.
I guess this is the new law congress just passed coming to light.
Even the UFC got a piece of the action, I was expecting Exxon and Chase to butter the politicians up, but Dana?
