Who would have ever thought...

after watching the very first season of TUF, that Leban would be fighting Wanderlei Silva one day?

Jesus tits I hope not.

Then they will probably give that fucker a title shot or some shit.

No way he beats Wanderlei

Wanderlei will knock Leben out cold round1.

Jardine is the only guy he has ko’d in how long?

I'm glad you said that

I don’t really see why so many people haven’t really given Stann a chance against Leben. I think it will make for a great fight and it could really go either way. Same with Leben and Wandi. If Leben beats Stann, Wandi may have big trouble against Leben. Just because of ring rust and i’d say Leben has a better chin than Wandi. In a brawl, a stronger chin is a great asset.

i feel even if Leben lost to Stann they can still put Wand vs Leben

Not like Wandy is going for the title. He’s the Matt Hughes of the MW division. He rarely wins, so why can’t Leben face him in the event he loses anyways? Its about the match up stylistically. And its a great one regardless.

And he won as well against supposed top contender Bisping

Wand still has something left to offer and I’d pick him over Leben everytime. He’s never going to win the MW title but he can still give the majority of the division a tough fight. To be fair Hughes can still be competetive and beat some top guys in the divison as well, both guys are legends and only the current elite are a step ahead of them.

well that's what i had said

That’s why he’s a perfect example of the Matt Hughes of the MW divvy. Neither will make it to gold again, but their still relatively gamers to the division. Its a great fight on paper, and I’m still taking Leben.

I think both fighters can achieve #1 status

It’s just if both fighters can beat the champ and in to fight game, and if it just comes to one fight anything can happen

A prime Wandy...

Eats Leben for breakfast…but way too many battles and age have not been good to him, the Jardine and Bisping fights will be his last wins and this is coming from a huge Wandy fan…

I realllllly want this matchup. I have been wanting it ever since Silvas drop to MW. I think he has looked great at MW. And Leben is on fire right now; if he can beat Stann as he probably will, then I think this match will be setup. I actually liked the idea of a Wand/Leben TUF but that would keep us from enjoying their fights until the season ends.

Tough to pick a winner

Wandi could get the best of Leben using kicks and knees but he’s going to have ring rust going against him and Leban has one of the hardest heads in the business. Gotta give the edge to Leban here

Scratch the fuckin Stann fight pleeease

Let Leben rest some more and put this matchup together instead.

as good as leben is doing these days

And assuming he gets a few more wins,Itd be hard to sell a title bout with anderson(assuming he stays champ for awhile) to any fan who saw andersons ufc debut fight.lol…anderson/leben 2….the first one was a back and forth battle….minus the back and emphasis on the forth

correction

Not necessarily hard to sell the fight…hard to sell the idea leben has a snowballs chance in hell at winning

i know

I was just speculating the scenario if leben continued winning and anderson holds onto the belt

Wins over Stann and Wandy would give Leben 4 straight. That’s enough to at least talk about a title shot.

i see Wand winning this

Same as he did with Bisping not too overly agressive. Wand has better striking (especially knees and kicks) he has better jits and i think they are equal in the wrestling aspect.

Wand will win this but by decision

I'll take Leben to win this fight.

He has looked really good his last couple fights and to come in a beat Sexy on a week or two notice was impressive. Wand is on his way out, unless he gets lucky and KO’s Chris I think this will be a relatively easy win for for the Crippler.

love both these guys. but still pulling for leben

Just because he’s not as accomplished as Wanderlei. I like em both, but Wandy’s name and past are set in stone. He’s made it. He’s the man. I’d like to see Leben get a little of that as well.
