UFC 123 'Prelims' on Spike TV to feature Simpson vs. Munoz, Brown vs. MacDonald
Spike TV today announced that its UFC 119 "Prelims" telecast will include bouts featuring Mark Munoz vs. Aaron Simpson (middleweight) and Rory MacDonald vs. Matt Brown (welterweight).
UFC 123: "Rampage vs. Machida" is set for Nov. 20, 2010, from the Palace of Auburn Hills in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan.
Munoz and Simpson -- two of the Octagon's most gifted mat technicians -- will both be out to rebound from tough losses in their most recent performances.
Munoz is coming off a hard-fought split-decision loss to Yushin Okami at last month's UFC on Versus 2 event in San Diego, while "A-Train" was stopped via technical knockout by the resurgent Chris Leben at the Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale back in June.
Also hitting the airwaves is bright young prospect, Rory MacDonald, looking to bounce back from the first loss of his professional career against Matt Brown.
MacDonald was seconds away from likely defeating Carlos Condit at UFC 112 before "The Natural Born Killer" stormed back to score a late third round technical knockout. Brown, meanwhile, needs a win in a major way after losing back-to-back fights to Chris Lytle and Ricardo Almeida.
UFC 123 will be headlined by a light heavyweight match up of top contenders Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. And two guys you've probably never heard of, Matt Hughes and BJ "The Prodigy" Penn, will finally complete their welterweight trilogy.

NO!
I think the KO came from Munoz kneeing himself haha (I know he was out before that but damn that knee to his own face was BRUTAL!)

nah Simpson aint all that munoz tko round 2
"whats the difference if Bruce Springsteen is his shidoshi?"
Hamil is a LHW and is bigger and stronger then Simpson.
And its Munoz’s only loss. So I think he deserves more credit then the good ol’ “He got knocked out before so he sucks automatically”.
NOBODY wants to fight Fedor, Except: Brock Lesnar, Shane Carwin, Frank Mir, JDS, Roy Nelson, Cain Velasquez, Matt "Kimbo Killer" Mitrione(by popular demand) and the rest of the UFC Heavyweight division.
Ment only KO.
And I really hope you read the whole post instead of just that.

"NOBODY wants to fight Fedor." - Wanderlei Silva, former Pride MW Champion and GP winner
that first setence threw me way off
* "Standing in the ring in whatever condition I'm in is my way of life."
* "I don't think the injury was the cause for my defeat, I lost being in 100% condition at fight day. It's possible that Santiago might have been injured as well, I lost because my best was insufficient, only mortifying thoughts remain now. I think I would've entered the ring even if I lost one of my legs, I'm a fighter who fights, not with technique, but with heart."

If Matt Brown loses here it will be 3 L's in a row.
hope he wins.
I failed to learn my lesson, once again ignoring the advice of David W-S and making myself look foolish. Clearly he knows a lot more than me, he wins 2-1.
Me too.
I don’t like Rory either so it would be double great. And its not his fault I don’t like him it was the way Joe Rogan talked about how great he was and only mentioning his shots and hits. I don’t think he did any real damage in his last fight and I don’t think he was gonna win, He deserved a draw at best.

Nah his last fight he was destroying Condit.
I’d like to like Rory, but its do or die for Matt. Rory will be ok with 2 losses in a row, seeing the competition they were against. Brown losing to Almeida, Lytle, and MacDonald would mean walking papers, regardless of how good the fights were.

Destroying??
Thats a big stretch.
Hope Brown gets to stay.
