After hearing about the UFC/WEC merger,it got me to thinking about Jose Aldo turning down the Kenny Florian fight.. If Aldo and his camp knew this merger was coming then it seems to be a really smart decision. It seems that the biggest reason for him to jump tp LW this soon would have been to get to the UFC and get those UFC paychecks. Better to be the FW UFC champ than a possible top contender at LW. I will say though, the FW division is going to get ridiculous when the small LWs start dropping weight and we will see if Aldo is as good as we think. Tell me what you think.
