Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is finally set to pull the trigger on its latest pay-per-view (PPV) fight card, which is set to go off TONIGHT (Sat., Dec. 11, 2010) from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

UFC 124: "St. Pierre vs. Koscheck II" will be headlined by welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre, taking on fellow The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 12 coach Josh Koscheck. Heavyweights Stefan Struve and Sean McCorkle are slated to hook 'em in the night's co main event.

TUF champions Joe Stevenson and Mac Danzig are also set to throw down on the main card.

Round one: Jab from GSP. GSP ducks under and gets a take down with ease. Kos walks the cage and is up to his feet. Good jab from Gsp. Good one two combo from GSP. GSP ducks under for another take down attempt and Kos stuffs it. GSP lands two more good jabs. GSP is landing the jab hard and often. Inside leg kick from GSP. Good jab from GSP again. Kos stuffs a take down and lands a good knee. Jab from GSP. Kos has a mouse under his right eye. Double jab from GSP. Good right from GSP. Inside leg kick from GSP. Jab from GSP. Another jab from GSP. Double jab from Kos. Jab from GSP. Inside leg kick from GSP. Kos pushing GSP against the cage and is going for a single leg take down. GSP defending against the cage. Kos gets the take down!!! Kos on top in full guard. Good elbow from Kos to end the round. That round was all GSP on the feet and he is doing serious damage with that jab. GSP dominated that entire fight and all because of one of the best jabs ive ever seen used in MMA. 10-9 GSP.

Round one: Struve doing the stalking. Big right from Struve. McCorkle ducks under and gets a big slam take down!! Struve looking for a guillotine. McCorkle slips out and is now going for a kimura. McCorkle has is locked up and now just needs to crank it. Struve scrambling trying to slip out and it works. McCorkle on top in side control. Struve looking to scramble out. Good strikes from McCorkle from full guard. Struve almost gets an arm bar. Struve with full guard. Not much action so far on the ground lots of scrambling but nothing too exciting. Struve gets a reversal and is now in full mount!!! Struve is raining down strikes on McCorkle and the ref stops it!!! Stefan Struve with a big win!

Round one: Joe daddy comes out with a right. Good front kick from Danzig. Big right from Stevenson. Inside leg kick from Stevenson. Good jab and body shot from Joe Daddy. Both men are throwing strikes but their off by just a bit. Joe Daddy lands a big overhand right that lands hard! Danzig lands a counter left that drops Stevenson and thats it!! Stevenson is out cold and Danzig with a KO that basically came out of no where. He was backing up as he landed the left. Wow big win.

Round one: Inside leg kick from Alves, and big right from Alves. Good jab from Alves. Howard with a counter right then attempts a take down. Alves clips Howard with a great combo and now Alves gets a throw and takes down Howard! Alves on top in half guard. Howard goes for a leg lock which makes Alves let him back to his feet. Leg kick from Howard. Body kick from Alves. BIG one two combo from Alves. Alves lands another good right. Big left hook from Alves. Counter jab from Alves. BIG leg kick from Alves now Alves lands a sick combo and two BIG knees. Leg kick from Howard lands hard. Nice left hook from Alves. Counter left from Alves and now a good body kick. Howard gets double underhooks and ties things up. Knee's to the thighs from Howard. Alves muscles his way out. Sharp leg kick from Alves. Leg kick from Alves. Leg kick from Howard. Howard now swinging wildly!!! Alves lands two hard leg kicks to finish the round. Alves dominated that round he looks amazing right now. 10-9 Alves.


Round two: Inside leg kick from Alves. Nice combo from Howard. Leg kick from Howard. Jab from Alves. Leg kick from Howard lands hard. Leg kick from Alves. Great counter combo from Howard. He lands a couple. Big leg kick from Alves. Big left hook from Alves. Good combo from Alves. Inside leg kick from Alves and high kick from Alves. Alves with a hard shot and take down. He gets a big slam. Alves in half guard now. Howard gets full guard. Elbows from Alves but nothing landing. Big hammer fists from Alves do land though. Good right from Alves. Howard trying to scramble his way to his feet. Two big elbows from Alves at the bell. Another good round for Alves but this time he did it on the ground. 10-9 Alves.


Round three: Big leg kick from Alves. HUGE right from Alves. Leg kick from Alves. Leg kick from Howard. Howard now going for a take down but he is stuffed. Leg kick from Howard. Nice right from Alves and a left hook from Alves. Leg kick from Howard. Nice right from Howard and counter left from Alves. Alves drops Howard with a left!!! Howard pops back up to his feet though and now their tied up against the cage. Nice knee to the stomach from Alves. HUGE leg kick from Alves. Leg kick from Howard. Jab from Howard. Nice one two from Alves. Great leg kick from Alves. He is mixing it up perfectly tonight. Great defense from the pocket by Alves. One two combo from Alves and now Alves chops with two HUGE leg kicks. Body kick from Alves. Big left hook from Alves. Both men throw BOMBS for the final 10 seconds and that is the fight. That was an exciting fight but it was all Alves from start to finish. Amazing fight, and I agree with Joe Rogan for those who are not watching live this is by far the best Thiago Alves ive ever seen in the cage. 10-9 Alves.

Jim Miller vs. Charles Oliveira (155-pound limit)

Round one: Head kick from Oliveira right off the bat. Oliveira shoots for a single but nothing there. Leg kick and then head kick from Oliveira. Miller now with a take down after getting caught with a couple kicks. Oliveira holding onto a neck and lets it go for an arm. Full guard for Oliveira. Miller with some body shots. Elbows from the bottom from Oliveira. Oliveira is throwing his legs all over the place looking for a submission. Oliveira now going for a leg, and Miller counters with a leg lock of his own. Oliveira is throwing huge body shots trying to get his leg out, and thats it Oliveira taps out!!! WOW, Jim Miller with a HUGE win. Unbelievable.

Joe Doerksen vs. Dan Miller (185-pound limit)

Round one: Miller opens by going to the body. Doerksen comes over the top with a right hand and lands nicely. Miller pushes in on Doersken while he's off balance and gets the takedown. Doerksen looks for the sweep and nearly ends up in a guillotine but fights out. Working half guard now. Miller stands up and looks to throw but ends up in butterfly guard. Back to full guard and it's slow moving now. Miller stands up again and eats an upkick before coming down back into Doerksen's guard. Joe staying very busy on the bottom. Miller lands a few clean punches. Doerksen throwing his hips but gets nowhere and the round ends with Miller still on top. 10-9 Miller

Final result: Dan Miller defeats Joe Doerksen via Split Decision

Mark Bocek vs. Dustin Hazelett (155-pound limit)

Round one: Hazelett opens pumping the jab and right away Bocek gets a takedown. Hazelett working full guard. He's trying to throw his leg over while Bocek tries to pass. Rubber guard for Hazelett. Bocek passes to side control. Back to half guard. Elbows and shots to the body from Bocek. Hazelett grabs a leg and uses it to sit up but Bocek sprawls. Full mount Bocek and out of nowhere he slips under for the triangle. He's got it in deep. Hazelett is forced to tap. Outstanding performance by Bocek.

Round two: Doerksen opens pumping a jab and Miller shoots and gets the takedown. Immediately, Doerksen reverses and he's landing a few big shots. Miller working a very high guard. Miller has an overhook and is controlling Doerksen's posture. Miller upkicks his way out and gets a takedown of his own and he's back on top in full guard. Doerksen looking for a kimura. He's got his arm and the crowd is pumped, seeing it. Miller rolls out of it. Miller still on top in Doerksen's guard but so far it's been Doerksen's round and his corner knows it. They're telling him to pick up the pace as the round comes to a close. He takes the advice and starts reigning down blows. Round ends with Miller on top but it should go to Doerksen. 10-9 Doerksen.

Round three: Head kick by Doerksen and Miller shoots and gets the takedown. Doerksen is bleeding from his nose now. Doerksen nearly sweeps him but Miller does a great job keeping top position, much to the chagrin of the live crowd. Miller has him against the cage and Doerksen looks frustrated throwing elbows from the bottom. Mike Goldberg calls this a, "battle of will here." Miller totally controlling on top and throwing enough volume punches that damage may not matter. One minute left and it's the same story. Miller working on top and Rogan is actually calling for a stand-up. That says it all about this round. Doerksen makes a last gasp effort to grab a triangle but he can't get it and this should be Miller's fight. 10-9 Miller.

Final result: Mark Bocek defeats Dustin Hazelett via submission (triangle) in Round 1

true maybe he can’t lock up the foot for a heel hook while miller has his foot on the ground, but that doesn’t mean you can’t snake your legs around your opponent locking up the leg and using that to trip him to the ground and once on the ground you can torque all you want. or while miller is standing he could also just wrap the legs grab millers foot and shove the front of millers ankle into his armpit and then start pulling on the ankle. miller was definitely in a little trouble but he kept his head and let the inexperienced kid leave the opening and then took advantage. mythbuster was just trying to be a douche and talk shit about rogan but unfortunately it’s a fail.

I am biased cause he is an IL boy and I love his style. But the smart bet, if you play it is Gomi. He def has the class on Guida, even though ken Flo made him look really bad, he is still legit. Still Guida’s heart, and crazy style can be unsettling, especially to someone not familiar with the cage so much. Tough call but like I said, I will probably stay away from it.

Edgar, I am not sold yet, if someone can get a hold of him, then he’s done. That’s the big question though. LOVE the fact he kicked BJ’s ass though.

exactly...how long you think shields would last standing 25 mins with gsp? hed die in 2 minutes...and shields doesnt have the power to td gsp the way kos did in the 1st round
