DAMN! What a freakin CARD!
I keep cringing every time Dana starts talking about how they’re gonna start putting on a lot more fights. We don’t need more cards. We just need good cards like this one and no more bullshit like “Marquardt Okami” or “Bisping/Leben”. They’re gonna end up doing like boxing and have so many freakin titles and cards that nobody cares about them anymore…and we’ll look back fondly on cards like this as “The Golden Age of MMA”

Doing it right
Need some fireworks added since Frankie Maynard will be a technical bout that most will not enjoy. I have a soft spot for Phil, he is really exciting for at least one round. Gomi Guida is a great matchup and we will see what kind of power Gomi has for Guida. Carwin BC is going to be a more competitive fight than people think IMO.

I agree about the Carwin/Nelson fight deuce
Nelson showed he’s pretty durable last fight and Carwin showed he’s good for 5 minutes of action. Be interesting to see if Nelson can whether the maelstrom from Carwin and if Carwin has improved his cardio any? My money’s on BC if he can make it out of the first round, think Carwin could be a HW Akiyama when it comes to cardio.

All I want is to see more than 1 round in that fight. No matter what happens after that, I will be happy. Was it an adrenaline dump or was it a poor gas tank?

Well its not like Carwins gonna have to worry about big country’s cardio cause its just as bad as his. Round 2&3 is gonna be both of them bent over huffing for air. TKO by heart attack could go either way.

This card needs another big title fight...
For a New Year’s card that is actually on New Year’s day, I think it just needs something more. Probably a Rashad Evans fight or something in the LHW class in my opinion. That Bader/Jones fight would have been a sweet addition.
