"[The UFC 120 win] felt good. I was dishing out the punishment instead of receiving it. [Akiyama] definitely landed. It was a good shot. He caught me early on, and I did have to recover. It had me seeing double for a while. I feel I’ve grown as a fighter. If I can’t do it now I’m never going to do it. I’d like to fight Wanderlei again, definitely. I would even consider coaching 'The Ultimate Fighter' against him."
Shortly after his winning performance against Yoshihiro Akiyama in front of a hometown crowd, Michael Bisping talks to the press during the UFC 120 post-fight press conference (via Sherdog.com) about getting back into the cage against Wanderlei Silva. The Wolfslair product lost a unanimous decision to the Brazilian at UFC 110 back in February and has been clamoring for another go-round ever since. Simply put, Bisping feels he was robbed by the judges and wants to prove he was (and is) the better fighter. Any fight fans out there siding with "The Count?"

the whole point of the show was to bring MMA to mainstream while
developing strong talent that could eventually contend at the highest levels. So for seasons 1 and 2, they were able to pick top level prospects. But now i mean some of these guys can’t even cut it on the regional scene. So it doesn’t even serve its purpose anymore……it’s the same as watchin any old M-1 global show (which at least those are somewhat exciting). It seems with every passing season the talent level takes another drop going against the grain of supposedly as MMA gets bigger -better and more talented prospects arise. Even worse thse guys will eventually take up good space on the undercard to get cut after 2 fights simply because they were on TUF instead of hidden gems from across the world. Do you people see where i am coming from with no more TUF. So No jason it’s not about being “SO COOL.” Dana could use all the resources to improve other things instead of feeding us the same ol tired bull.

He just fought Wand 8 months ago. While there is some contreversy behind the decision, he lost, and he did not look really good against a guy who was not afraid to come foward on him. Against Dan and Wand, he looked horrible. Since being in the UFC, outside of Kang (who is not the KAng he used to be) he is unable to finish mediocre fighters. His finishes come against BS c level talent like Day and McCarthy-look out world Mike is in his Prime! The first Wand fight was while Mike was in his Prime. If Mike does get the rematch, at best he will once again get a BS decision against Wand, where Wand stands a good chance of still ko’ing him. Even with Wands instant off switch on his chin, Bisping was barely able to make Wand even shudder in 3 rounds. What makes him think a rematch would be much different?

actually rewarding a fighter who showed some killer instinct and a desire to actually finish the fight, instead of going with the guy hopping around throwing little jabs. Dont know how those judges sleep at night.
Id remind you that I just said I think Wand won,
but youd just ignore that fact probably. And if you watch the fight again, you tell me who pushed the pace and scored more takedowns. I did say Wand won though and I still feel that way, but only because of the last ten seconds.

Bisping in the first round, Wand in the latter 2 (takedowns were even in those rounds, unless you count Bisping's late takedown in the second that almost led to him getting choked out)

I didn’t realize it was Bisping’s fault that Kang gassed. Sorry, they should take that win away or at least put ‘TKO-But Kang Gassed’ beside the W. Your guys hate is clouding the fact that Bisping really isn’t that bad of a fighter. He’s not top 5 by anymeans, but he’s pretty high up considering he appearently (according to you two) sucks beyond belief.

Kang landed one punch…yes it hurt Bisping, but I would hardly say that the rest of that round was him getting his ass handed to him. He looked pretty good off his back, especially considering he’s a dirty limey ;)

you defend that Okami got a win over Anderson nevermind that it was a DQ and you pointed out this win as proof that Okami has beaten a top guy and argue that it is a win and a win is a win if you bet money on Okami you’d of won blab bla bla… then say Bisping never finishes anyone and it gets pointed out that he finished Kang and you defend Kang? So Okami’s win is legit but Bisping’s finish of Kang is crap? Or perhaps sometimes you are wrong.

It was a close fight and fairly entertaining.
It’s unfortunate that Bisping is a fair and equal opponent for Wandy these days. The old warrior is long past it and he wouldve destroyed Mick in his heyday.
On the bright side, we’re all still talking about Bisping’s last stint on TUF, so maybe it would be entertaining. Plus, it stinks when the guy with the strap is on the shelf for 6 months to do the show.
GSP isn’t very interesting as a coach but I sure hate that he can’t fight until TUF wraps up on Spike.
Hate Mick or love Mick. It’s good tv and I think he is smart enoughj to curb his tongue. I think he reads Mania and is bummed out that few people support him as a result of his previous antics :)

Firstly I’m from the UK and I have been hanging around this site for years but only recently felt the need to post.
What bugs me is the UFC thinks us Brits want a card full of Brits, not true! I would much rather GSP/Lesnar/Silva or BJ came to the UK but we keep getting these cards without any “stars”.
Give us something to get excited about if you want it to get bigger in the UK. Don’t get me wrong have 1 home grown talent on the card but not the majority!
That said the gate took a record taking in Europe so imagine if we had a decent card….

if there was no ultimate fighter in the first place there would not have been great fighters like Forest Griffin, Rashad Evans, Diego Sanchez etc..
so why would people not want TUF? (if you dont like it, dont watch it.)
Wand, Leben and Maia all have fights booked.
Belcher may never fight again and Okami and Nate also have fights booked. Your list doesn’t make sense.
