I doubt that it will happen
First, when does Dana keep his mouth shut about things if it doesn’t promote or keep the peace within the UFC?
Second, Couture is just saying this because we all know his next fight will be another sleeper. You guys say that Fitch is a boring fighter to watch??? You have to be kidding me after the last few fights Randy had. The only exciting fight of his was against Silvia and I love watching anyone smash Tim’s head in….even BJ if that were ever possible.

Why do you think he is out till 2011? And why would you be surprised if he fights this year?
If he doesn’t fight this year he’ll never fight again. Everyone seems to be saying he is going to fight again this year. I think it might be good news they are holding out, not bad news.

Late Spring is almost 6 months away. Sounds reasonable to me if he has been training.

Shitting yourself doesn’t end the fight. Just ask Big Timmay. And if Brock were to shit himself mid-match, Mir would get his nose shoved in it and get beaten with a rolled-up newspaper until he quit, giving Brock a submission victory he needs to be considered a “true mixed martial artist.”

Randy recorded that interview before brock got his tests back this week.
Of course he is training…it’s his job. It’s not like he has been bedridden for the last several weeks. We’ll see if he fights. Why would he ask for a gag order if it was good news? Plausible answers only please.

Dana not giving a big announcement after he announces one isn’t anything new. The results probably aren’t back yet. Dana likes to make announcements and not deliver until a week later. We will see if he fights soon, like you said. I doubt Randy and his coach would say the same thing if Brock wasn’t ever going to fight again. If he is going to come back this year that interim belt has to be canceled immediately.
