If Tito beats Chuck...
Is it really considered a win? I mean I like Chuck and all but he hasn’t looked all that great since he lost his belt with the exception of his war with Wandy. I don’t really think a win does much for either one of their careers but it will get hyped to no end and I’m sure it’ll bring in some big bucks but at the end of the day…these are two ageing stars and as much as I’d like to see either or both of these guys make another run…they haven’t really evolved much as fighters throughout their careers and the skills they rely upon are not nearly as shapr as they used to be.

I don’t even know why they are giving Tito this opportunity again, other then there being nobody for him to fight that makes any sorta sense. Chuck handled him easily while they were in their prime, on 2 occasions. Now you are going to give Tito an opportunity to beat Chuck and act like the only reason he lost the other 2 was because of his back (not like it will have anything to do with the fact that Chuck is done). This fight has as much meaning for mma as my morning shit. I hate that these ailing fighters and geriatric matches are taking up televised spaces and headling cards on ppv’s, where they could easily put up some actual division contenders and fights that have value (like my $59.99). This Tito and Chuck and Coleman and Coture really should not be headlining anything but the line out of mma. They have all had their time and the only fighter to evolve was Couture and unfortunatly for him he is almost 50.

its a fight. enjoy MMA for the actual fighting, not divisional poliotics and races.

Depends on how high billing this fight gets
If it main events a PPV then that is farcical, Chuck and Tito are well past their prime and a third fight is meaningless. The main appeal of their past fights were the rivalry as well as finding out who was the best, now it’s just 2 old men who can’t fight as well as they used to competing in a fight that doesn’t affect the LHW rankings at all. Ortiz-Forrest II proved that Tito can’t draw for rematches and that fight was a lot more relevant to the division than a third fight with someone who should have retired last year and only has one fight left in him anyway.

And it is a joke. Neither of these guys is going anywhere. Just because they can still sell tickets. This is worse than the whole Kimbo garbage at EXC.
Frank Mir packed 30+ pounds of solid muscle onto his body in five months. Why hasn't anyone called him out for steroid use? Is it because he never wrestled for Vince McMahon? I give Mir credit for his taste in strippers/wives, not his fighting skills or his personality.
If this headlines a PPV...
Then expect UFC 106 levels of buys. It’d have to have a sick undercard for me to bother watching.

you know a ton of ppl is going to buy it, I’m looking forward to seeing Tito fight Chuck not so much. I love Tito and so but he shouldn’t be fighting Chuck he should have had his rematch against Forrest and someday when Rashad has lost to Rampage he should have that rematch too.

Brendog I actually don’t complain to much about the cards. It just kills me that this fight is going to be billed and hyped as this great rematch. I know that is Dana’s job and more power to him for being able to make money off of the 4 of these irrelevant fighters. It just kills me that he is going to end up carrying this fight with good undercards, making me pace circles and debate hours on end on whether or not I should actually pay for this ridiculous waste of a headlining match, try to find 2 or 3 people that want to split the card, since I never can get to a bar early enough to get a seat because of my job schedule.I’ll watch just about any mma from Cage Combat (I think it is the name of the crappy no name company that is from Arizona on your local sports station on Verizon-with fighters with mullets and beer bellies) to replays of old crapppy Elite XC fights just for the sake of watching mma. It just when it costs me a couple of hours of pay to watch a fight with 2 guys that truly don’t belong fighting anymore so some redneck in my town can talk about how Tito or Chuck are the greatest mma fighters to grace the likes of a ppv in 2010. Anyway hopefully you get what I mean….

Also, it was pretty funny to see him sitting there knodding yes to almost everything buffer said.

That being said, I still don’t think that Tito has a chance of beating chuck…. Even if chuck is old and slow, Tito still won’t be able to stand with him for very long and definitely won’t be able to keep him down

At this point there is only one thing that Tito does well, and that’s coach. He won’t beat Chuck, and he won’t ever be relevant in the division again. He should just stick to coaching. And please lord, for the good of everyone, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ALL MICROPHONES!!!!!!
