Former WEC champ Mike Thomas Brown inks new five fight deal
Former WEC featherweight champion Mike Thomas Brown recently inked a new five fight contract to remain with the organization for the foreseeable future.
The 34-year-old American Top Team product is coming off his first loss in nearly four years at the hands of the young Brazilian striker Jose Aldo.
Aldo’s dominating performance at WEC 44 earned him the belt that Brown laid claim to for just over a calendar year.
He will waste little time in his quest to right the ship and find his way back to the top of the 145-pound heap once again. Brown is scheduled to step back into the cage against newcomer Anthony Morrison on January 10 at the WEC 46 event in Sacramento, CA.
