Good Preview
still not buying but is a good card
I hope Miller smokes Maia like Marquardt did
Cocky little asshole talking shit after being destroyed by Marquardt, “I wasnt out” “early stoppage” lol yeah right.
And I hope Marquardt demands a titleshot after he crushes Sonnen, “Silva next or im outta here” something along those lines.
If he doesnt get it he should fucking go to strikeforce where he’ll be respected.

Probably
But I really hope he doesnt.

for sure maia wins
but am i the only bothered by them calling him the most celebrated BJJ fighter of his generation? That’s pissing over the names of many greats. Granted he has translated BJJ better than almost all of them but as far as active fighters, almost everyone would disagree that he holds that status.

Dont Forget
that marquardt got handled the first time around with anderson silva, it was pretty much a blowout from start to finish.
Watch again
Marquardt posed problems. He put spider on his back for a minute or so. I realize it’s cliche, but I thought Nate looked good until he “got caught”.

Nate didn't do too bad
but that’s only compared to the other people Anderson has destroyed.
Hadoken!!
Nate @ sf
Man, that’d be too sweet. I’m all for it. I am hoping many more fighters use STRIKEFORCE to either bargain more respectable contracts, or just to get away and more respect and lime light.

Relentless...
….Frequent nighttime urination.
I just don’t see the appeal of the main event. Sonnen vs. Marquart is a good fight though.

This card is pretty good
Lots of better known fighters on this card. Nate is probably 1 fight away from rematch with A Silva. Coleman and Randy are both long long time vets and both HoFers.A lot of people thought last night’s card sucked and it ended up having probably the most 1st round finishes, including a bunch of submissions and a couple of nice KO/TKOs.
Ok
UFC 108 was a good card like i was saying and unlike what the haters were saying. BUT UFC 109 is going to be shitty. I’ll go on record saying this card is not worth any type of money. Im going to feel bad wasting gas money to drive to Hooters and watch this.. but I do love fights!!
u serious?
all these fights are pretty good
Theres nothing funner than lettin them hands go
-rashad before refusing to let his hands go at ufc 108
For a FN event or an undercard yeah
Couture Coleman Trigg Serra? Come on…
Theres only one top fighter on this card and thats Marquardt, none of the others are even in the top 10.

Sonnen’s done less than impress me with his latest fights. Being submitted granted by a submission savant like Filho, but then Mai, granted another submission savant…..i just don’t see Sonnen ever getting near the top of the heap. Sonnen’s only been subbed or won by decision for over 2 years. 2 years since he last got a TKO or KO….in the meantime he’d laid on top or got subbed by someone with crafty jits.
Gatti. Dekkers. Pele. Aoki. Kang. Vanderlei. Basillio. Harry Greb.

Sonnen completely dominated Okami
Not saying that should be the end to the argument, but many held Okami in extremely high regard and felt he was the most dominant MW regardless of his lay and pray. They clamored for him to get more hype and such, and then Sonnen came in and treated him like a ragdoll. Again, not saying it should end the argument or be the most proving fact in the world, but it was a very dominant performance whether you are a supporter of Okami or not, seeing as that was definitely the biggest whooping he has received in my opinion.
I was a huge Okami fan and i still am
but that fight proves why you don’t play greco with a real greco guy.

Agreed NNR
Just saying that I felt it was a dominant performance.
UFC 111
Next HUGE card. But I’m looking forward to Bones SMASHING Vera, big time!*
*next HUGE card in terms of name notariety. I watch and enjoy 99% of cards. My exception to date was TUF finale (liked Nelson though lol).

i for one love it
i love coleman and randy, two of my all time fav’s, it will be a great fight. trigg and serra are some old schoolers as well (i love old school ufc), rooting for serra to send trigg packing . Thiago is growing on me and if he ko’s swick i will be a straight up fan. every one is still sleeping on chale sonnen but the dude can brawl, and will give nate more of a fight than willy G did, besides any fight nate is in is a good one. Maia is the man for any one who is a fan of jits and the millers are slick on the ground so this will be a very interesting fight as miller has the better stand up.
anybody know the guy's name whose voice they use to promote these ufc matches?
i'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. i was building a house, i don't deserve this, deserves have nothing to do with it. "unforgiven"
