one thing I kept hearing last night was...
that the winner of Shad/Thiago would get the winner of Shogun/Chida which I thought was premature…its way too early to make those decisions imo…

Frank Mir packed 30+ pounds of solid muscle onto his body in five months. Why hasn't anyone called him out for steroid use? Is it because he never wrestled for Vince McMahon? I give Mir credit for his taste in strippers/wives, not his fighting skills or his personality.

Rashhard is lucky Silva didn’t knock him, Silva had him and let him recoup. Biggest mistake I have ever seen in a fight yet.
maybe silva should have watched the sam stout fight
and learned how to defend a takedown….thats basic mma 101…you want to be an mma fighter…the first 2 things you learn on the first day of training are the 2 basic fundamentals…
1. how to throw a punch
2. how to defend a takedown
you cant do these 2 very basic things then you arent an mma fighter…its silva’s job to stop these tds….sam stout did it…after getting caught in early sub attempts by j lau he came out and spent the next 15 minutes stuffing j lau’s tds…
dont hate rashad because silva doesnt belong in the same octogon as him….dont hate shad because silva hasnt learned the most basic of all mma pieces of knowledge…
silva walked into an mma fight thinking he was in a barfight…and got outsmarted…

my dream fight would have to be Brock Lesnar vs Jake Shields...and before the fight theres a video of jake slapping brock's wife...then id like to see shields try to gay porn a win over brock using his butt sex merry-go-round tactics...the massacre that would take place would be the greatest thing ever televised...every limb jake has would look like corey hill's leg...god i hate jake shields

Silva defended many take downs. Silva got right back up when he did get taken down.
Silva definitely knew how to throw a punch. You can ask Rashad about that.
Rashad is also a more accomplished wrestler than J Lau (who is coming off of surgery and ring rust).
Silva went to put on a show and finish a fight. He was never in trouble. Rashad tried to stick on him to avoid the fight. Yes, it was a smart game plan to get the win but it also made for a kind of lame fight – thanks to Rashad.
It’s all about what the fans want and giving them their moneys worth ($45ppv) – not protecting the record. I just know to think twice about buying a ppv when Rashad is the main event. He’s a great fighter with many tools but he fought to not lose.
Considering Silva almost killed him (and was the only one to do ANY damage), he belongs in there with him.
then why didnt silva finish the fight when he had a chance?
because he was so gassed from getting dropped on his head that he had nothing left….silva had his chance…the gate was wide open for him to finish the fight…but he couldnt…he had nothing left…he didnt belong in there….when you got a guy rocked like that and you stand around dancing and let yourself lose then you’re just a jackass….
what kind of gameplan is having a guy nearly knocked out but not being able to finish him? hes an idiot…he rocked shad but couldnt do anything but do his best chuck lidell “so you think you can dance” impression…
he gets in there doing his best anderson silva impression and dances like a dumbass but the difference is that anderson can finish a guy when he hurts him…thiago cant….its obvious that if you can take thiago to the 3rd round then you have nothing to worry about…cause even if he hurts you he wont even have anything left to put you away…he spent the fight getting dropped on his head time after time…cant defend a takedown…then gets a guy hurt and doesnt even have the gas to do anything about it….
