I am not ready for Mir/Lesnar 3.
Mir got punished pretty bad in the last fight. Carwin would be more entertaining.
I would just as soon get that Mir fight over and done with. Otherwise Mir is going to keep claiming his “win” over Lesnar and clamoring for a rubber match. Another savage beating should end any possibility of us having to see Lesnar whip Mir’s ass again.
The weather is here, I wish you were beautiful
mir has taken the neccessary steps to ensure to his best ability that, that never happens again
there may be a slight strengh advantage for lesnar in a trilogy but there will not be a size difference and technically mir has the advantage so Id call that dead even
I hope MIRE subs carwin without taking any damage mir/lesnar III is a fight that everyone should want to see
Lesnar's performance was so dominating against Mir I dont see the point in a third match
And Mir was in incredible shape for the last match. He will get destroyed again in a one-sided beat down.

If Brock never did steroids.......
Why doesnt he have a better physique like when he was in WWE?
I mean there is a massive difference in appearance since he left the WWE.

age
Fedor once bet NASA he could survive re-entry without a spacesuit.
On July 19th, 1999, a naked Fedor re-entered the earth's atmosphere, streaking over 14 states and reaching a temperature of 3000 degrees. An embarrassed NASA publically claimed it was a meteor, and still owes him a beer.
Who said he didn't do steroids while he was wrasslin?

He never did jay
He was on a human growth hormone but at the time the human growth hormone was legal.

Legal as it is now...
With a prescription. HGH makes a huge difference and is probably the reason for the change in physique. Definitely wouldn’t rule out the possibility he was using some anabolics too. Doesn’t matter though, that was during WWE, and this is now. Totally different.

Wait, wait! You actually believe that Brock Lesnar wasn't on 'roids.
Neither was Mark MacGuire right? Sonny Liston never tainted his gloves, Grant Fuhr wasn’t on Peruvian marching powder all through 80’s either. You have to be kidding! Saying you believe that 55 I.Q. sporting, dairy cow molesting, aluminum chair hurling, redneck didn’t do the ball shrinking bang bang, is on par with admitting you are a scientologist. You aren’t a scientologist are you? Wait a second is this Jon Travolta?
You know if you’ve done steroids in the past it’s very easy to regain muscle mass. Much harder than putting on new muscle. Therefore the benefits of taking steriods in terms of strength continue even after you’ve stopped taking them.

He took humane growth hormones in the WWE
And during that time the humane growth hormone was legal, he stopped taking them when they became banned around the same time he was trying out for the vikings. It’s funny to see some just assume and have all reasons why they believe they are right. WWE = guaranteed roider….if he’s big anyway, look at his size he must be….. etc etc fact is Brock has been a 285+ man since college and has taken many drug tests random and planned that all have came back negative. You guys hear of all these guys that have passed drug test and later been found they were taking something. Most of these players were cought later through random drug tests as planned drug tests allow the person to mask or beat the system. Anyway until you have proof of something shut up please just because he’s big and strong and was in the WWE proves nothing especially after he passes random drug tests, and Brock is making you sound foolish LOL.

Not really DJ
Brock has been the same weight. A lot of the pics you see of him in WWE he is oiled down including his wrestling matches were they usually pump a little iron to appear beefer as well many of his pics are air brushed. You guys seem to get fooled easily by pictures if you actually go to you tube and watch one of his wrestling matches were he isn’t greased up and you can tell you will realize he is the same size.

The difference in size and mainly definition is one that Hellen Keller could see.
Pretending that oil gave him much larger traps and a 6-pack is ridiculous.

Well the other thing to consider...
Is while he was wrestling his primary work out was probably just lifting; MMA training is completely different, he’s just trying to stay within range of the 265 lbs weight limit, being as his primary goal is not putting on lean muscle mass, that also probably has a hand in it.

I agree Dice
But working out for appearance is what WWE stars do, now do I think Brock did or didn’t I can’t see him mixing HGH and roids together and if he did I think he would be much bigger but he was only 300 pounds in the WWE around the same weight he is now, and for those that go by the WWE weight it’s also inflated they probally had him listed at 350 but in reality he was 300 just for the record.

you guys have seen the Maximum mags that are air brushed?
You wonder why there boobs look bigger in the mag than they do on camera.

also, keep in mind
training for pro wrestling is largely for looks (ie, bodybuilding), not athleticism. the complete opposite of how you train for a fight.
Not just age
You have to realize the different nature between the WWE and MMA. In the WWE it was all about the show and to get ripped Brock lifted for bulk, not strength and speed, but bulk. Now as a martial artist you do not want all that bulk because 1. all that bulk needs blood and oxygen and 2. Bulk isn’t very flexible for the most part. Put your “Jump to Conclusions Mat” away and realize there are different ways to lift to gain different results.

Because he's not training to look llike a bodybuilder!!!!!!!!!
He’s training to fight. H U G E difference.
Calu
The WWE wants physiques, the UFC wants fighters.
So you train to fight not to build muscle. Unless you’re trying to move up a weight class.

This is horseshit!
Carwin shud of w8 a lil longer to fight Brock & Mir should have a rematch with Big Nog so he cud get the beating he deserves!

Run Frank run
Frank is going to get real hurt in the next fight they have. I hope Brock drags it out alittle bit before the ref stops it
Carwin vs Lesnar
While the real matchup I want to see involves Velasques, I am very excited still to see these behemoths try and tear each other a new ass.
Lesnar thus far.
By the time he is back in the cage for a fight he will be at his best again. This brings big problems for many.
I still would like to see Carwin tested on the ground, but the same can be said for Brock. We know they both have GNP but do they have defense.
Cain will get crushed. Sorry guys but he is undersized for both Carwin and Lesnar, and I just cannot get over his performance against Kongo. If that were Carwin or Lesnar we would not be even mentioning his name right now.
Mir new idea of adding weight to make him competative against these guys is idiocy. I know many feel that Lesnar wins due to size and strength which does have a lot to do with it, but his wreslting skill combined with MMA learning is truly impressive. His beat down on Mir last time was a display on how a wrestler could negate BJJ. Mir should have to fight NOG again before he gets another shot at Lesnar or an Interim title.
I do not think NOG has the size to compete with Lesnar and his striking skills have seriously diminished over the years. For a relatively young guy he is really slowing down. Lots of hard fought battles.
For those that do not know, Carwin is now 35. I am wondering how much longer he will be able to keep the size and strength he possesses. I already think he looks dramatically smaller than he did before and has not needed to cut to 265 in several fights. He will be giving up size and strength to Lesnar when they do fight which I believe is how it will pan out. I am looking forward to him and Mir beating on each other as I think they are both a lot more talk than action. Carwin does have some impressive KOs but besides Gonzaga he really has not fought anyone. I just think that Mir will talk himself into standing with him and get his lights put out.
35 is not to old especially for a late starter
Infact I think the late starters have an advantage in some areas. For one they haven’t taken the beating some of the younger guys take moving up the ladder in ten fights Carwin only has a broken nose to show and I believe if you have a solid chin it can only be worn down over time were guys like Randy still have an excellent chin. Really in MMA what good fighters have declined besides those that have taken many shots like wandy but the other hand there are guys like Henderson who show no age. I think to many compare football age. And second older starting fighters seem to have an advantage as far as smarts go were younger fighters take more chances? Anyway I think we will see an improved Carwin, will it be enough?
"He broke tim sylvia’s arm…...So what?" – Brock Lesnar
Agree with that but
I completely agree with that as I think that the late comers have more of an advantage with not being dinged up all the time like NOG. What I was trying to point out is that at 35 keeping muscle mass on as well as strength becomes dramatically harder. Just as Matt Hughes. As I stated I already think that Carwin looks much smaller than he did when he first started MMA.
