WEC Quick Quote: Jens Pulver can still compete if he stops being dumb
"This fight is very important man. I can't lose 5 fights in a row, come on. It can't happen, so this fight means a lot man. I feel like I have been losing because I was dumb, you know what I'm saying? I'm just getting caught in dumb stuff. even in the first fight with Urijah, don't get me wrong, he is fast, but I made his hands look faster because I fought dumb. But I want to show everyone that I can still fight and that I can still compete."
Former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver (22-12) tells FightHype.com that he's looking to reverse a string of horrific losses by downing Javier Vazquez (13-4) at WEC 47: "Bowles vs. Cruz" from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, on March 6. "Lil' Evil" is at a crossroads in his career, having lost six of his last seven fights and going virtually winless (1-4) in the WEC. In fact, this fight may be Pulver's last chance at redemption in a sport he once dominated. Is he done? Or starting the greatest comeback in mixed martial arts history?

I'm a Pulver fan as well
And it’s tough watching such a good guy go on such a horrid losing streak; as usual I’ll be rooting for Lil Evil, hoping he can see some glory before it’s time to hang em up.

Fedor was originally cast as the main character in 24, but was replaced by the producers when he managed to kill every terrorist and save the day in 12 minutes and 37 seconds

Always liked Jens, but if he loses this fight
Then he needs to hang up the gloves and become a coach or something. The loss to Faber was expected, but he’s losing to no-name guys with hardly any experience. Jens will always be a former UFC champion and the only person to beat BJ at LW, that’s a lot to be proud of.

Jens has lost his snap.
In Jens younger days he had quick hands, he’s obviously slowed down…. he just doesn’t have the snap in his hands he use to. I always welcome his effort, but if he gets hurt KO’d … then please Jens hang ’em up.
Jens cannot compete at the level of today's athletes
Jens should retire before he does more damage to his legacy. Also , tired of him always having an excuse as to why he lost. Just face it , you cannot compete with the top level athletes of today.
