I really hope Nate puts a beating on this dude
I was listening to Sirius Fight Club last night and both he and Sonnen were on. I understand Sonnen’s diarrhea of the mouth is mainly fight hype, but there is hyping a fight and there is sound like a straight up moron, and Sonnen seems to do the later quite well.
Also, judging Sonnen’s latest rant on A. Silva, to say he is looking past Marquardt would be an understatement.

He’s easily the biggest dick head in MMA, no wonder he always gets submitted and has a lay and pray style. If only Babalu had have purposely choked out this racist, homophobic, talentless, overrated, boring, arrogant, deluded sack of shit instead of Heath. I remember him speaking out about Filho regarding the rematch bs and that first fight. Understandably so, though Paulo had nothing to do with ref. stoppage in the first fight all the drama involved with the rematch deserved some verbal abuse!
Re. that youtube video, Considering 8 of his 10 losses are by submission, you would think he would step up his BJJ game instead of being a meat head homo-phobe shitting on the discipline that really made mma what it is/so popular today and has lined his pockets green…
I think Nate may run through Chael, Chael’s best skill is wrestling and Nate is pretty good and the rest of his skill set Nate is way better at then him. Striking is Nates, bjj is Nate…I initially thought this fight might be kind of close, but really looking at their skill sets and the way they each one of them have lost in the past, Nate really has a huge all around advantage. while the main event is pretty much a joke the card does have some pretty decent fights on it
whose to say coleman and couture may shock us all and put on one hell of a fight, i see it being a easy win for randy but hey stranger things have happened
the deal isn’t about how good or bad the fight is going to be, it’s that neither of these two oldies should be close to a title shot and that it should be a onesided fight. I don’t care about the last cards being good ether, it’s about puttng quality names on the card.

Maia has the potential to be outstanding, he just needs to sort out his striking so that he can be competetive against the top MWs even if he can’t get the fight to the ground. I still have no idea what he was doing against Nate, I don’t know whether he was given a bad strategy or simply panicked but Maia is better than he showed in that fight. He’ll come back a better fighter and will show how good he really is against Miller.

I think this is a bad matchup for Nate. Sonnen is an olympic calibur greco wrestler with good boxing and footwork…not to mention gr8 top control……..i see him grinding out a dec here……and people losing a lot of money…sorry nate

Nate has excellent BJJ (Black Belt in BJJ) and will catch Chael if he ends up in Nates Gay guard!

I hope Nate does take him out so we can finally see the rematch with Anderson. Although, the funny thing is, the Spider will not be the Champion when Nate gets his next shot, it will be Vitor.
So worst case scenario, if he does lose, he may get his shot at the Spider but it would not be a title fight.

Marquardt defeats Sonnen
Belfort defeats Silva
Marquardt vs Belfort

Between Vitor being a Mental Midget on the big stage and essentially only having good hands I don’t see how you think Vitor wins this fight. Anderson is way to much fighter for him, but like Daniel the more of you that keep betting Vitor the better it is for us who want to bet Anderson…

I think Nate is a f’n monster. I mean the dude is strong in all areas and always shows up ready. I do think Chael has a shot though, it’s by no means a gimme for Nate. Chael is tough and as people have stated has a stellar wrestling game and is an intelligent fighter.
I didn’t watch the video above (sound is screwed on the PC) but I see a lot of posts about how much of a dick Sonnen is. I know I have seen him make some dumb-ass comments in interviews and he does come off cocky a lot of the time, but he’s a really cool guy. I live in Portland and have run into him more than a few times at events and a couple of times around town. He is hands down one of the coolest fighters I have met. Willing to talk about the sport and just a real nice guy.
I dunno… just felt like defending the guy.
I have been watching MMA for 16 years and it is the best sport on the planet! Most of the people that post in these forums make me furious on a daily basis by being a-holes or just dumb as hell... then I look around and realize ahhhh I'm at home and am just as guilty as all of you idiots.
