UFC LW 8-Man Tournament Quarter Final #4

We all know that BJ Penn is the most dominate LW in the world.  To the point that there is practically no one who can really provide a viable threat to him.  But what if BJ were to suddenly vanish?  The UFC LW landscape would change dramatically.  With that in mind, who would rule the UFC's LW division in a world without BJ Penn?  I say we find out, Tournament style...

Below is an 8-Man Single elimination bracket to determine which LW would rule the division.  Quarter Final # 3 saw the first underdog of the tournament, Tyson Griffin, advance.  According to the Maniacs, it was a highly competitive fight, and came down to a razor-thin decision.  Griffin squeaks by with 53% of the vote over a disheartened Grey Maynard.  Guess its back to the drawing board for "The Bully."  Who will be the next to move on?

Quarter Final 1:       1 Kenny Florian
                               8 Takanori Gomi                Semi-Final 1:    1 Kenny Florian
                                                                                                 4 Frank Edgar
Quarter Final 2:       4 Frank Edgar
                               5 Joe Stevenson                                                                               Final:

Quarter Final 3:       3 Gray Maynard
                               6 Tyson Griffin                   Semi-Final 2:   6 Tyson Griffin

Quarter Final 4:       2  Diego Sanchez
                               7 Sean Sherk

We continue the tourney with Quarter Final # 4.

This match-up makes for a stark contrast in style.  Diego is known for his high paced relentless offense.  On the Flip side, Sean Sherk is one of the strongest contenders in the division, with top level wrestling, an endless gas tank, and powerful G'N'P.  Will Diego's suffocating attack be to much for the Muscle Shark?  Or will Sherk finally get back to his wrestling roots and look to control the tempo via old-fashioned G'N'P?

Lets hear it Maniacs.  Will the favorites move on, or will we see an underdog rise to the top?  You decide.
