UFC LW 8-Man Tournament Quarter Final # 2

We all know that BJ Penn is the most dominate LW in the world.  To the point that there is practically no one who can really provide a viable threat to him.  But what if BJ were to suddenly vanish?  The UFC LW landscape would change dramatically.  With that in mind, who would rule the UFC's LW division in a world without BJ Penn?  I say we find out, Tournament style...

Below is an 8-Man Single elimination bracket to determine which LW would rule the division.

The opening fight of the tournament saw Kenny Florian take a convincing victory (over 70% of the vote) over a former P4P contender in Gomi.  Who will be the next to move on?

Quarter Final 1:       1 Kenny Florian
                                8 Takanori Gomi                Semi-Final 1:    1 Kenny Florian

Quarter Final 2:       4 Frank Edgar
                                5 Joe Stevenson                                                                               Final:

Quarter Final 3:       3 Gray Maynard
                                6 Tyson Griffin                   Semi-Final 2:

Quarter Final 4:       2  Diego Sanchez
                                7 Sean Sherk

We continue the tourney with Quarter Final # 2.

This match-up pits the surging Frankie Edgar and his improving boxing skills against a battle tested and rejuvenated Joe Daddy?  Will Edgar's pugilistic prowess lead him to victory, or will Daddy add another victim via his patented Guillotine Choke.

Lets hear it Maniacs.  Will the favorites move on, or will we see an underdog rise to the top?  You decide.
