"Dana White's first offer was a joke and that lets me know he really don't want to do this ... his offer was laughable. That's the reason I wanted the camera guy in the room with us when I sat down with Dana, so the fans would know that I was serious and if it didn't happen, it wasn't because of me."
41-year-old NABO heavyweight boxing champion James "Lights Out" Toney (72-6-3, 44 KOs), who was in Memphis, Tennessee last month to attend UFC 107, tells FightHype.com that he's blaming promotion president Dana White for not taking his offer seriously regarding a switch to mixed martial arts. Perhaps Toney saw Ray Mercer put Tim Sylvia on queer street last year in Alabama and decided it was time to prove his power is more than enough to squash a former YouTube star and some past-their prime headliners. But even if he does, would it warrant the multi-million dollar payday he's looking for?
