Did the "Natural" do enough to earn the decision or was Vera robbed of the "Truth?"

Too bad it wasn't on 1 hour later

Because the timing would be perfect to watch the Vera/Couture match so I’d be sleeping before the end of the first round.

Randy won 1st and 3rd

Just watched it again this morning and thought randy won the 1st and 3rd. Extremely boring fight though.

There you go!

See? People re-watch fights, and discover something new. That has happened to me on several occasions now. I saw the fight one way when it happened, but upon re-watch I see it similarly to how it was actually scored. I have yet to see a truly scandalous scoring, especially once I go back and re-watch the fight.

Bisping-Hamill
Rampage-Ninja
Machida-Shogun
Bonnar-Jardine

No amount of rewatching can justify those scores. I’ve rewatched this fight, I’ve seen it live in person without any commentary and I’ve seen it on video where I could rewind and rewatch any crucial parts of the fight. I scored it 29-28 Vera everytime, he dropped Randy in the second therefore won that round as Randy didn’t land any strikes or take him down and he took Randy down in the third and secured mount, again cancelling out Randy’s failed takedown and clinching against the cage. Even the first could have gone to Brandon as he landed the only effective strikes of the round and rocked him. It was a poor decision and showed the problems in both biased scoring towards a name and towards wrestlers.

"Wanderlei is focused and well trained...he will easily win this fight, by a large margin and with much better technique."

Anderson Silva on why Wand is going to smash Bisping. Get ready to lose your dignity frosnt.

yea once again i agree with you david

its funny that the same people who want to give silva a 10-8 round for rocking rashad and gassing due to his shitty cardio….never make the same argument for vera when he dropped randy with that body kick then staying on top of him…yea he didnt finish randy in that round but silva didnt finish shad either…

fucking hypocritacal douches on this site

my dream fight would have to be Brock Lesnar vs Jake Shields...and before the fight theres a video of jake slapping brock's wife...then id like to see shields try to gay porn a win over brock using his butt sex merry-go-round tactics...the massacre that would take place would be the greatest thing ever televised...every limb jake has would look like corey hill's leg...god i hate jake shields

Vera was robbed

Vera won the fight without doubt.

Some other decisions that i think are questionable of late:

Tito could have been given the last Forrest Griffin fight. Forrest did no damage and Tito cut Forrest up badly in rounds one and two with elbow after elbow inside the gaurd. Tito tanked in the last but i thought the fight was already his.

I think Nate Diaz beat Clay Guida and Gray Maynard. Nate’s definetly not a favourite with the judges……

On a completely different note, i’d like to watch a UFC without Joe Rogan’s emotive and biased commentary. He get’s so carried away focusing on one fighter he completely misses vital shots that change the tempo of the fight. Eg. Machida vs Rua. I actually prefer Mike Goldberg’s feedback….
