Anthony Johnson: 'John Howard is about to be snaggletooth when I get done with him'

Quoteworthy:

"John Howard is tough. He's not a pushover. I don't think I'm going to go in there and run over the guy. I'm going to go out there and fight him and it's going to be a good fight. He knows how bad I have wanted to fight him and I'm sure he is training his ass off for me because he knows I'm going to bring it. I expect a good fight. It's like I said on my Facebook, his time has run out and now he's about to be snaggletooth when I get done with him…I heard he called me 'Crumble.' He says I crumble when I get pressured and stuff, but ain't nobody made me crumble yet. I had one mental breakdown and that was when Koscheck pulled his little stunt, but other than that, I ain't broke down in no fight. I go out there and fight with everything I got and everybody knows that, so as far as me crumbling, it ain't going to happen."

Hard-hitting welterweight Anthony Johnson is prepared to take out his frustrations on John Howard after being choked out by Josh Koscheck at UFC 106 last November in a controversial fight that snapped "Rumble's" three fight winning streak. Unfortunately "Doomsday" hasn't been giving him an easy time, referring to him as "Crumble" in previous interviews after Johnson called him a "Coward" for backing out of their first fight. There may not be a clear-cut winner in the war of words -- but who will be victorious in the war of welterweights? We'll find out on March 21. Who ya' got?

I got Rumble in this one.

Was wondering what little stunt did Kos pull? I hope he isn’t referring to when he poked Kos in the eye.

Wasn’t Kos getting clobbered when he faked an eye poke to recover?

I’m pretty sure he crumbled vs Clementi @ UFC 76

a lot of people thought so (me included) but later on a picture surfaced showing he was clearly poked.

It’s somewhat ironic what happened to Rumble. He gets poked in the eye multiple times against Burns (1st fight) and he loss due to an "accidental"eye poke that the referee missed. Then, against Kos the ref stopped his onslaught to allow Kos to recover from a phantom eye poke. The fact remains, Kos eventually finished him.

Howard doesn't stand a chance.

They are only talking smack like this to hype up a mismatched fight.

Great...

Now we get to hear Joe Rogan’s line again … " It looks like they are separated by two weight classes!"

Good matchup.

If he’s smart Howard will take it to the Ground. He’s got more game.

Crumble v Coward

Should be a very exciting fight and the war of words will make this even more entertaining. I don’t like Rumble because of his attitude and behaviour outside of the UFC but he is fun to watch, whilst Howard has picked up a few good wins and won’t be an easy opponent to beat by any means. I’m expecting Rumble to put Howard away in the third by TKO but this should be a competetive fight and if Howard can take him down then Rumble will be in trouble as his BJJ is non-existent.

rumble all day

howard is not taking rumble down or knocking him out.. rumble is a juco wrestling champ. clementi beat rumble because he took the fight on a week notice he didn’t even train thats the worst rumble ever looked. i like howard but he’s getting knocked out in the first round. i don’t know why yall think howard can take him down, maybe because koscheck a 4 time division 1 wrestler did? this fight aint going to the ground its not even going past the 1st round
