he's taking it well but I still feel bad for him
rules are rules but Hamill was busted up before the illegal elbow hit…I only saw one elbow that was questionable…Jones will be a HUGE force…my money will be on Jones from here on out…against ANYONE in the UFC…
~
bones jones is an animal.. that kid has some serious ground and pound..
too bad for that illegal blow that cost him the W along with his bonus win money..

I agree, this kid is going to be the shit. His front kick looks like a switchblade flicking out. And as soon as he took full mount, he really kicked it up a notch on the ground and pound. And he’s amazingly level headed.
He’ll be champ, one day.

one day soon
he’s young and inexperienced but that will be to his advantage…no fear and no hesitation…this “supposed loss” will be the best thing for him…not to mention he also trains with Jackson…
Future Champ for sure
I thought that front kick was going to take Hamill’s head off. I used to dog this guy, but no more. He more than proved himself to me on Saturday. Plus he is a great person.
Glad to be free from Intro's tyranny.
his legs and arms are bloody long too!
Man he had those legs out there incredibly fast, & when they come out if ur able to freeze it (good luck), his legs look like bloody stretch Armstrong! Can hit you from across the cage.
He’s a fantastic specimen & incredibly designed and perfectly proportioned to do big things in the division. & @ what 23? Wow highly anticipated fighter only gets more anticipated after saturday.

Be afraid...Be very afraid!
…and don’t feel bad for Jones for losing either. He is cool with everything.
Time to throw this guy in deep water.
POLL: Who should be his next fight?
yep i say Vera
Then loser of Shad/Silva.
I feel Vera isn’t that great & getting past him for Jones still may leave him quite green for his title shot. I’d feel more comfortable with him beating a top 5er then stepping in.

it'll be interesting to hear from hamill in coming days
Not that a re match is warranted but do u guys see any possibility that due to the ending in that & a loss, they may try to build a ‘venge his only loss’ story?
It could be a waste of time except that Jones doesn’t exactly have a short shelf life, he’s 23.
Or they won’t bother?

I don't think anyone is curious how that story ends...
Jones destroyed Hamill in every aspect of the fight. There’s not much of a story there. Come back and do it again, minus the illegal strike? Is there anyone that thinks Hamill is still a challenge for Jones? Probably not.
Give the kid winner of machida/rua!!
J/k. Lol, but I do think that highly of “bones” and his skillset. I think Franklin,Forrest, Vera or Luis cane are the best opponents for him at this point. Just please don’t send this kid backwards as far as talent faced (Cantwell, stann, soczynski) keep this boy going forward.

im being a lil bias with Vera
I dislike him so much & just really want a decisive ko so ppl will slow his role.
The randy win apparently wasn’t enough cause it was ‘controversial’, tho I only saw it one way.
A KO should silence the Vera hardons a lil bit. & Jones has just the tools to do it.
Plus I really like ace & I think Jones/Ace will look VERY Spider/Ace reminiscent. Lol

Vera would be a solid fight
I’d like to see this one.
Would be some excellent striking, that’s for sure. And I’m sure they are both ready to fight sooner rather than later.
Book it.
