Report: Goran Reljic vs. CB Dollaway 'signed' for UFC 110 on Feb 21

Goran Reljic -- after a long lay off and back surgery -- is reportedly set to return to action against CB Dolloway at UFC 110 from the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia, on Feb. 21, 2010, according to MMAMadness.com.

Reljic is a very promising young talent -- he is the protege of the legendary Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic. The Croatian made his UFC debut at UFC 84 in May 2008, upsetting a game Wilson Goveia via second round technical knockout (strikes).

However, he sustained a back injury shortly thereafter that has kept him out of action ever since. If healthy, Reljic has the talent and promise to rise to contender status in no time.

Dolloway is coming off a recent submission loss to Tom Lawler at UFC 100. After an impressive stint on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), Dolloway has had an up-and-down tenure inside the Octagon. He is taking on a very dangerous opponent in Reljic in a fight where he should be a significant underdog.

UFC 110 is expected to feature a heavyweight showdown between Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira and Cain Velasquez to determine the next number one division contender. In addition, a 185-pound brawl between Michael Bisping and Wanderlei Silva in a bout that may have future title implications is also expected to fill out the top of the card.

I seem to remember

Some story about Goran saving some kid from drowning or something last summer. Can anyone help me on that? Maybe I’m not thinking of the right person….

Goran was awesome in the Wilson G fight, looking forward to having him back. For sure adds a lot of excitement to the 185lb division. Hope he does not have to much ring rust, I want to see him kick CB’s head all the way to Melbourne.

can’t stand to look at CB, there’s just something about that guy….yea, i think its a combination of his hairlip, his voice, and those white sunglasses. Oh and the fact that he automatically taps like a little girl.

Looking forward to this card..

The Australian card looks like it could produce some great fights. Some big names and some of my favourite fighters, Wand, Nog, Cro Cop and now Goran Reljic is added, can’t wait. I reckon this event could have some highlight reel finishes, Hopefully involving Rothwell and Bisbing getting KTFO, then i’ll be happy.
