Alistair Overeem vs Badr Hari video from K-1 World GP Final 2009
Now that Alistair Overeem has come crashing back down to earth at the hands (and feet) of Badr Hari, will we finally see "Demolition Man" return to mixed martial arts and defend his Strikeforce Heavyweight title?

I know it's all k1 today,
but I’d rather that than have another kimbo day. I’m shocked that Semmy pulled it off

I bet lot of people thought Badr would just KO Semmy again...
but no. That happened in Showtime because of the size of damn the ring. Semmy had zero mobility and couldn’t establish his range. In normal size rings though combined with Hari’s felon chin it worked out perfect. What was sad is that Remy had that leg injury. I mean it forced him to be aggressive and actually drop semmy but after that he was wild and going everywhere. Hopefully he sees the merit of pushing the pace hard especially with his athleticism. Anyways, i guess Ernesto Hoost will fall behind Semmy since i see him winning a couple more GPs before retiring.

thx buddy but no action tonight for me.
All TUF guys are trash and no value anywhere. Everything seems pretty straight forward – though i did think about a houston/Bones-edgar parlay.

bets...you are right its all trash!
bets:
Parlay: Bj Penn, Bones Jones for even money!
Parlay: Guida,Kongo,Shaub $40 to win $640
What?
I thought he said K1 was easier than MMA? LOLOLLOLLOLOLOLLLOLLLLOOOOOLLO
For the other guys
He said he could beat any of those K1 guys at MMA. It makes sense, no reason for the LOLOLOL
Glad to be free from Intro's tyranny.
if this had been mma then
alistair would have been straight on top of badr when he threw him in the first minute

Where you at . . .??
Wheres the guy who was tellin me how amazing Undereem is/was??? I think it was either “The Dragon” or “JeremyJackson” since those are the only two guys that go around to every single comment to reply how dumb an wrong it was and how right they are . . . not this time huh. BJ BJ BJ!!!

You're losing your marbles slowly on a website for everyone to see AG,

Just goes to show
You can take Alistair out of MMA, but you can’t take the MMA out of Alistair. Three takedowns in 3 minutes of kickboxing!
Did anybody see the first shot that dropped Overeem to his knees? I watched it about 20 times and still can’t see what hit him.
mad right hand coming over the top
followed up a second later

Please explain something Jesse Holland
How exactly did Overeem come crashing back down to Earth?
He made it to the Final 8 and viciously KO’d Texeira. And he kinda got screwed a little in that fight with with regards to the stoppage. Overeem was still aware of where he was and was defending. He wasn’t knocked down when the referee jumped in. Even if you want to count it as a knock down it would’ve only been the second, shouldn’t the ref start counting to ten?
He may not have won it but he definitely performed better and made it farther than most. He did a lot better than guys that have been doing this for years.
Why are you talking about K-1 in an MMA blog?
"I'll make that [expletive] fight right now for free. Let's do it."
- Dana White on Fedor vs Lesnar
i knew badr was going to take it~
but, imo- that stoppage was a bit early.. not that i think overeem could have turned things around, but the ref should have let it go at least till the 2nd knock down[which never happened]..
overeem took that head kick better than i thought he would..
overated
overeem is totally overated, his stand-up is garbage and if he ever fights again in mma we’ll see him exposed in the other facets of the game as well. there’s a reason he never wants to fight anyone..
anybody know why
Overeem’s face before the fight shows the expression of a man experiencing accute constipation?
or why half the time nothing happens when I try to use the “c” and “x” key scrolling functions?
The c and x thing gets me too
I don’t know the answer to that. I noticed that about Overeem too.
Glad to be free from Intro's tyranny.
What?????
This guy is suppose to be the one to dethrone Fedor? Seriously????
