Good video
The video was well done. Very entertaining. Great night of fights. They keep putting on good shows and are moving up in my opinion. Im looking forward to the next one for sure

seriously? i think Frank Shamrock pisses us all off a HELL of a lot more than Mauro
i seriously hat Shamrock…worst commentary ever. Did you hear him constantly yelling “Whooo!” like that sounds so bad on a live broadcast. Not to mention he has an annoying voice that is not fit for commentary. It would be so much better if Shammy was not a commentator, the shit he says is so fucking wrong anyway.

What about Fire Marshall Bill? How am I supposed to take fighting commentary from “the fight professer” seriously. Does he have any actual expierence? The guy looks like the fucking Crypt Keeper.

Quadros has gone downhill down the years
but at least he knows the sport unlike a goldy. Back in pride he was so much better. His work with Bas in Nog-Herring I is what commentating should be. Lil Shammy just isn’t worth anything, just horrible and Mauro is a poor man’s Schiavello. I don’t know why it’s so hard to find a good play by play guy aka The voice and put him with someone who can keep up with the fights and comment on details impacting the fight aka Frank Trash (Mir) or Pat Militech.

Mauro doesn't bother me that much
He’s no Voice Schiavello but is better than Goldie and that WEC guy. It’s the other SF commentators that are the problem.

I really liked Jens Pulver
when he was doing WEC commentary. I thought he was poised, accurate, and had a good sense of timing for knowing when to speak and when to let the play-by-play guy do his thing.

Agreed.
I was very impressed by Jens… He was a lot of fun too. He clearly had fun doing it, which made it all the better. Even if he had sucked I would have enjoyed listening to him having fun with it.
Couture’s good too, if he doesn’t die in the ring fighting at 85 years of age I imagine that would be a good gig for him. Mir’s okay when he’s not making up words or doing hand gestures that we can’t see. Some people hate on him but I still say Rogan is right up there for me…

Thompson and Melendez
have terrible boxing. Not saying the fight wasn’t entertaining, but they both have a long long ways to go in terms of standup. Just my opinion. And I agree, Mauro is terrible.
off topic, but Gomi might come to the UFC after all…
Japanese MMA magazine Kamipro was quoted as stating:

That would be nice....
I have always held Gomi with such little regard, his arrival in the UFC would be very nice. If he gets blown out, my opinion is validated and I can feel all warm inside. If he performs well and proves to not be the most overrated fighter (though I guess he isn’t anymore, but I still think about 2 years ago he was), then there becomes a plethora of new possibilities in the LW division. I could live with either one.

I don’t like him and doubt he will be successful in the UFC. But if I’m wrong, I get to see some good fights, win/win for me.
Frank Mir packed 30+ pounds of solid muscle onto his body in five months. Why hasn't anyone called him out for steroid use? Is it because he never wrestled for Vince McMahon? I give Mir credit for his taste in strippers/wives, not his fighting skills or his personality.
