ahahahaa
genius
nah basically saying all the same shit just on a different day
Every night i would pray to God for a new bike, then i realized God does not work that way, so i stole one and asked him to forgive me
Love this guy
He speaks his mind, and I agree wth everything he said, but to translate on the GSP thing, “GSP will get MURDERED by Anderson!” Please UFC, please never make that fight, it would be a HUGE waste of time! Cant wait to see Shogun vs Machida 2, cant wait for Silva vs Belfort (my 2 favorite fighters of all time), cant wait for Big Nog vs Valesquez, cant wait for Dos Santos vs Yvel… Soares manages the best stable of fighters in the world!!

Agreed 100%
2010 is going to be the year of Black House MMA.
"Anderson Silva is the best fighter on the planet...any Anderson Silva fight that is on, people should be buying that PPV, not because he’s my fighter but you know what, he to me is like the Muhammad Ali of MMA...the UFC has been around since 1993, nobody (else) has 10 consecutive wins in the UFC. Anderson has had 10 fights in the UFC, only 1 has ever gone to a decision."
Ed Soares on why Andy is the best fighter in the world

This is the one sidedness you get when friends interview friends.
What was he going to say “Yeah Shogun won, straight up.”
And when did the White House get painted black?

Get your nose out of his ass, Mr. Interviewer. Take some tips from Helwani.
I am blinded by a sea of green.
I hate Cofield for some reason, Helwani takes the gold.

But so does Helwani too, I don’t know why I don’t like Cofield, I think he keeps a smirk on his face that makes him sound/look fake to me. I don’t know, just don’t like the guy. But he’s a good reporter though, I just don’t like him :P

WTF?
I don’t understand all the hate for Ed Soares. He’s calling as he see it. He didn’t say anything factual incorrect. He has the best fighters out there, case close. GSP knows that he isn’t ready for the Spider.
I have no problem with Soares it’s just a bunch of idiot trolls who like to babble without thought. I think a lot of it stemmed from the elbow injury of AS that made people think he was jerking the UFC around…as it turns out, was totally legitimate and he had surgery for it.
He’s certainly not “slimy” as someone put it…
And then God said "Let there be light," to which Chuck Norris replied, "say please."
I don’t understand it either. Soares is a politician yes but he seems like a nice enough guy. As for GSP, he will be ready in due time. He’s going middleweight early in 2011. He’s gonna take the two best contenders out and call Silva out of retirement and win via back flip reversed flying punch. You will remember this post when you see it all unfold before your very eyes;)
Back flip reversed flying punch eh… I woulda thought he would just Hadouken Anderson Silva into nothingness; it’s practically GSP’s signature move.

haha, Anderson’s son looks just like him. Soares keeps saying that Lyoto didn’t look like himself on fight night but always neglects to acknowledge that it was Shogun who made Lyoto look human that night.

from a non-US citizen point of view, I can tell you people from outside the US love Obama for the simple fact that Bush is gone. You guys seem to be divided as a country about loving/hating Bush, but to be honest, the rest of the world mainly dislikes Bush.

I’m not trying to get into politics here, just telling you how people feel about Bush outside the US (regardless if they are correct to think that way or not). Not picking a side here, but are you saying Obama tripled your deficit in one year and Bush had nothing to do with it for the 8 years prior to that… That’s where you stand? Really?

I never said Bush didnt do anything to contribute.
It’s just that Obama has made it worse. $700 Billion stimulus for so called shovel ready jobs, but yet our unemployment rate is at 10%, when it was supposed to stop at 8% with the stimulus.
So much for change. Just partisan business as usual in Washington.
@fjbar75 on twitter...formerly El Mexicutioner
Oh I agree to a degree, to be frank I think Obama is too weak for not going after the banks. But you do have to invest money to create more job opportunities (and to get out of the debt), but your unemployment rate is decreasing, not increasing.

if anyone here is a troll it’s you my man. Why don’t you go to another site and spread your filthy views on politics there. Then we can get back to talking about MMA.
That’s where you’re wrong, I didn’t start this discussion, I simply answered a question regarding to why the majority of the world likes Obama and dislikes Bush. I didn’t mean for this discussion to get deep into politics, but of course, we have to defend our views when they are challenged. I didn’t call you a troll for no good reason, please see the definition for a troll and read back your comments and realize that you are acting like one. You generalize too much, attack using foul language for no good reason, and if you were insulted by me saying that you should learn to write to then reply to me it’s because you should. If you don’t know Portuguese and want to use it, learn it first because your first comment made no sense what so ever. You may have thought that it made you look/sound smarter to appear to know a different language… it doesn’t. From what you wrote, you might have been better off using something like google translate. Besides, this is a blog that is intended to an English speaking audience, so I don’t see what the point is in starting a conversation in another language.
To summarize, the fact of the matter is that people don’t like Bush and do like Obama. If you don’t like this concept, tough luck, it is what it is. You don’t have to generalize thinking the world likes Obama because he is black (that’s the only thing I got from your first comment), this is a very ignorant thing to say. it has more to do with his ideas and nothing to do with his race. I don’t care about your health care system, do what is best for you, it is your country, it doesn’t affect me. Our main concern is the economy and foreign policy. Please note that I never said I myself like Obama, he’s too weak to put in place the ideas he has, but it doesn’t change the fact that I much prefer him over Bush.
Now, I am quite sure that you probably don’t like anything I’ve written here, and perhaps your face is read as a tomato and would love to start writing a reply with a bunch of foul language and what not. I just can’t continue replying to you if you do so. We can all agree and disagree about issues without the need to be childish. So, if you do in fact reply to me and I don’t reply back, it is because you are once acting like a troll. Peace out…

Yeah but. . .
the love you have for yourself is on a totally different level. Trying to criticize someone for trying to speak another language, and trying to condescendingly appear humble and innocent while bashing someone else is about the most self righteous arrogant thing someone can do. I’ve lived in Brasil and love the culture. But if there is something to say about the boys (like you) in Brazil, it’s how incredibly arrogant you are. So tell me Orcus, do you live in the US? Your English is amazing, so I doubt you picked it up in Brazil. I’ve known many Brazilians that try to speak English and it is not near as polished as yours. If you do live in the US, tell me why? I get so irritated when Brazilians bash Americans and then do everything they can to try and be like an American. Bush was horrible, Obama is just as bad pushing the same Bush agenda. I’m not interested in what “The World” thinks about the US President, he was elected by the US people and should represent us. I’m sorry you have such a 3rd world little man complex. I wish you luck with that. Take care.
Trying to criticize someone for trying to speak another language, and trying to condescendingly appear humble and innocent while bashing someone else is about the most self righteous arrogant thing someone can do.<….> But if there is something to say about the boys (like you) in Brazil, it’s how incredibly arrogant you are.
if you say so…
So tell me Orcus, do you live in the US? Your English is amazing, so I doubt you picked it up in Brazil.
born and raised in Brazil, and proud! Education is a wonderful thing and my English is a result of private classes for English and Japanese (although I only kept English and discarded Japanese). I read books in English constantly, I work with companies outside of Brazil and have travelled overseas many times as well and English is something I need to earn my living as it is the "international language". This has helped me to improve on my grammar but I assure you that I have a thick accent when I speak.
If you do live in the US, tell me why? I get so irritated when Brazilians bash Americans and then do everything they can to try and be like an American.
question, what am I doing/saying that is giving you the impression that I’m trying to be like an American? What is being an American even mean?
I’m not interested in what "The World" thinks about the US President
Good, you really shouldn’t, and you shouldn’t be offended so much about what the world thinks either.
I’m sorry you have such a 3rd world little man complex.
really? what is a 3rd world little man complex? first you say I’m trying to be an American and then you say I have a 3rd world little man complex. Seems contradictory to me…Doesn’t make much sense.
I understand you are trying to offend me with these misconceptions without going for the foul language you were using before (which is a good improvement I must say, congrats!), but at least be consistent with what you write.

well that’s pretty much incorrect Orcus. Bush is/was massively unpopular and Obama was elected basically on a wave of anti-Bush sentiment.
I find it interesting that people around the world worship Obama yet hated Bush, when Obama has done nothing but continue the Bush presidency’s foreign policy and in fact intensified it, particularly in Afghanistan.
As Mexi said, this clown is not getting reelected. It’s too bad he didn’t get the public option healthcare he wanted because that woulda sealed his fate.

lol @ “our.” the idea of “world opinion” is pretty absurd as really “world opinion” consists of a bunch of idealistic European left-wingers and often socialists who like to act superior to the brutish and stupid Americans.
Oh right are those the same Americans who saved the world from the Nazis? Or those Americans who are the most productive people on Earth? Or maybe those Americans who have by far contributed the most to the world technogically of all the countries in the world in the past century?
I don’t know how you can’t see the hypocrisy in hating Bush for invading Iraq but celebrating Obama for CONTINUING those policies. The love of Obama borders on insanity and is really based on absolutely nothing but blind hatred of Bush.
Like the nobel prize he got…how much of a joke can a once prestigious prize be? First it goes to Al Gore then to Obama (for his work as of two weeks in office). All this “world opinion” is just meaningless nonsense that will soon fade, just like celebrity gossip eventually people will lose interest and see Obama for what he is.
Funny how Obama’s chief economic policy seems to be to print money to finance our skyrocketing debt…wait doesn’t someone else have that problem? Oh right, that’s Mugabe…
And then God said "Let there be light," to which Chuck Norris replied, "say please."
Your first two paragraphs screams arrogance, and therefore this debates ends before it even started :P Peace…

haha and the irrational Obama worship continues…to say Americans are arrogant is absurd as I was merely commenting on the profound arrogance of Europeans who so decry Bush. I certainly am not arrogant about my nationality but I was just pointing out that there is no reason to look down on Americans as many Europeans, particularly French, do. I’m about as apathetic about my own nationalism as they come, so whatever, man.
And then God said "Let there be light," to which Chuck Norris replied, "say please."
I didn’t say Americans are arrogant, that would be ignorant of me to do so. I was however saying you are arrogant, and that’s not ignorant of me to do so. Saying Europeans are arrogant however, makes you ignorant though :P
cagar é uma filosofia profunda...
a merda bate na água e a água bate na bunda.
Oh, so I am ignorant and arrogant now!
As I said, I am hardly arrogant about being American. In fact I distinctly dislike American culture and was very close to being the only one in my high school class to go to college abroad (I considered Trinity College Dublin and some universities in Canada, even Sweden). So basically, you’re dead wrong about me being arrogant.
Furthermore, those things I attributed to America were in defense of it against those numerous Europeans who would look down their nose at us (and don’t try to deny there are many such people, particularly during the Bush presidency).
I DID NOT SAY ALL EUROPEANS ARE ARROGANT. Merely those who think themselves superior to Americans and think of Americans as a bunch of brutish and simple cowboys, which is how Bush was viewed. That is like the definition of arrogance.
If you’re not intelligent or mature enough to see what I was saying then there’s no point in arguing with you, anyway.
And then God said "Let there be light," to which Chuck Norris replied, "say please."
dude, couple of things; does asking someone if they are intelligent or mature enough sound like a mature thing to do? we can all say some attributes don’t apply to us but that does not make it true. let me draw you an example; someone can say they are not homophobic, because they have gay friends, that does not mean they are not homophobic. the attributes we give ourselves to others means shit in the way others perceives us, and what we say in general makes big impact on how others perceives us. For example, you did say Europeans are arrogant (in general), if you only wanted to single out those who think they are superior to Americans than you should have said that and not make it a general quotation. Hopefully you can understand how writing is a powerful tool, and before doing so, some thoughts should be put into it. I’m done with this.
cagar é uma filosofia profunda...
a merda bate na água e a água bate na bunda.
I said nothing of the kind. “Those Europeans who so decry Bush” was my original quote which clearly does not refer to all Europeans, but those who so quickly look down on Bush, and by extension the simple Americans who elected him.
So maybe you should check to make sure you actually read more carefully and deeply before going on another pedantic rant, eh? Just admit you were wrong as I have basically proven that I said nothing like you accuse me of.
Oh right, I forgot you’re not going to read this, right? You’ve decided you want to go out on the high horse you rode in on to this conversation and get the last word! Yeah pretty clear you’re the mature one, here.
And then God said "Let there be light," to which Chuck Norris replied, "say please."
You are correct, you did in fact say those Europeans who so decry Bush… so the Europeans who decry Bush (which are the majority) are the ones who think they are superior to Americans? I decry Bush, does that mean that I think I am superior to Americans?
Oh right, I forgot you’re not going to read this, right? You’ve decided you want to go out on the high horse you rode in on to this conversation and get the last word! Yeah pretty clear you’re the mature one, here.
… right, you’re the mature one, right?
cagar é uma filosofia profunda...
a merda bate na água e a água bate na bunda.
well I thought you were just going to not return to this thread while trying to get in the last word, which I would view as immature. Credit to you for sticking with it.
I don’t think you believe yourself superior to individual Americans. And I have no problem with people disagreeing with Bush (I certainly do). But there is a difference between reasonable disagreement and unreasonable hatred.
Those whom I think arrogant are those who would look down their noses at the president of a democratic nation without any sort of respect or dignity. Because, at least to an extent, if you have no respect for the president of the country how can you have respect for the nation which elected him? Is that not the logical conclusion to draw?
People I think are arrogant are those like the French pop singer Alizee, who actually had a popular song called “fuck Bush.”
And then God said "Let there be light," to which Chuck Norris replied, "say please."
frosnt1
People in general hated Bush and love Obama. They don’t know why. After the election I remember talking to tons of people who were “Ya Bush is gone, they finally elected a real president” I would ask them why they were happy, and all they could come up with was “Bush started those wars and probably had something to do with those towers falling”. Point is most people in the general public are ignorant or don’t have the time to learn the whole story behind foreign countries. They just remember seeing that stupid bumbling cowboy on the news every time something bad was happening.
You were right though, most people not in America think you guys are assholes, in general. People remember the bad stuff and forget the good. Just sayin’

I have to disagree. I myself do in fact look down not only on Bush’s policies, but the man as well. after 9/11 I was 100% in favor of the US to going into Afghanistan, but bear in mind that I viewed that as “fairplay” after what happened to you guys. This however, does not give Bush a free ticket to invade whoever he wants, and when he invaded Iraq, that’s where most people started having their hatred towards his administration. This is not just mere unreasonable hatred, it is not irrational, we have hatred towards him because he made a country that was intact into a war zone that disrupted the lives of hundreds of thousands and hundreds of thousands have lost their lives and hundreds of thousands more were misplaced and homeless. People say Saddam was evil, and that is good enough reason to do what was done. I respectfully disagree with this argument. There are many countries today in the hands of "evil" leaders, this does not give anyone the right to invade a country if that country is not a threat to others.
I gotta go, it was good debating this with you even though we don’t see eye to eye in many of these issues and there were some cheap shots. But I just want to make it clear though; I do look down on President Bush, with much hatred, but not on the nation for which he served.

WW2 wasn’t a comic strip, nobody saved the world, millions of people died and if the american gov had been more willing to help in the first place then nobody would have needed “saving”.
most productive? well that depends on what you mean by productive, I live in London. I’ve travelled across europe and north africa, but when I go to the super market or go shopping for pretty much anything, anywhere, it’s pretty rare that I find anything that was made in the USA, maybe every other country in the world that I haven’t been to is different, just talking from my experience, but most productive?… Try China, India etc.
Technologically
at first I wanted to argue that, but you’re probably right there, Arms race, Space race, the internet etc.
"world opinion" is just meaningless nonsense
It’s when you say things like that, that voids your opinions, basically saying that what the rest of the world thinks is just a fad, that’s probably the most ignorant thing I’ve see an American say to date, don’t get me wrong I have several American friends here in London who are really great, cultured people. But when you say things like…
"world opinion" consists of a bunch of idealistic European left-wingers and often socialists

I don’t want to play up to stereo types, but you’re coming across like a bit of a hick, I’m having images of you sat there with a bible and a gun, with 8 locks on your door and a fear of socialism. Free health care?
Thats some funny shit. Higher taxes pay for free government programs. Any country that has “free health care” gets taxed up the ass.
I’d rather pay a little extra in my premiums so my daughter can have great private insurance, not some rationed, county/government run health care.
@fjbar75 on twitter...formerly El Mexicutioner
do you know how much money your government spends from tax payers to your current system? Much more money than they would with a “free health care” system. But listen, I’m going to stop because I don’t want to fight over this, one, I’m not American nor do I live in America, it’s not my place to debate these issues. I was merely making a comment of why people hate Bush, whether you agree or not, people hate Bush and love Obama. It is what it is.

The only reason it would be cheaper is because currently we DO NOT RATION healthcare in the US. There’s a reason why the US border doctors on the Canadian border make a killing…because Canadians want better, unrationed healthcare.
Anyone who tells you that you can have public healthcare without rationing (i.e. Obama) is completely lying. Not saying that’s bad but you can’t have public healthcare without rationing.
And then God said "Let there be light," to which Chuck Norris replied, "say please."
What the hell are you talking about…rationed healthcare. I’ve lived in Canada my whole life and have had zero problems with the healthcare system. I broke my collar bone in a couple of places two years ago, and bam, I was in and out with xrays and treatment post haste my friend. I was also set up with a physio consult for the next day. I’m not sure where you guys get your info, but it’s wrong.

Man, if you could see some of the news stories the USA has televised about their ideas of our healthcare, your head would explode.
Its disgusting what they make up about our healthcare system to keep Americans scared of free healthcare. Michael Moore includes a few of them news stories in his movie Sicko. I recommend it. And I don’t agree with all Michael Moore stuff, but he’s quite bang on this time.

I agree with MM_eh. Canadian system can’t be beat. I’ve never had any problems and everything is free. Some people don’t like to wait for elective surgeries and may cross the border to bypass wait times, but our health care(as well as England’s) is top notch.

Who CARES!
It doesn’t matter whether any of us believe in free health care or not. What we should all believe in is that in America a constitution was written to protect the rights of the people and to give them the right to choose the representatives that will speak on behalf of the voices of the masses. Hence the majority votes. It just so happens that in all the polls, American’s are tremendously against Obamacare. We can debate the world view on the president, but at the end of the day he represents the American public and if America is 65% against Obamacare it should NOT pass the senate. . .Unfortunately, what we have here is a Government by the government for the government which is NOT the system America is founded on.
Yeah, I do
And I pay for private health insurance as well.
Entitlement programs, like your health care system, are funded by taxpayers. It’s not free. Your government just mandates how you will receive healthcare using your own money.
@fjbar75 on twitter...formerly El Mexicutioner
It's to make sure everyone gets healthcare
I would rather pay an extra 3$ a week to make sure everyone in my country has health care readily available to them. I like the fact that if I play hockey tonight, I can get hit in the face with a puck and not have the first thought going through my head be “can I afford to get this stitched?”
The government doesn’t decide how I will receive anything. It’s all right there, waiting for me to use it, whenever I need it.

$3 a week? I won’t ask you about your particular income but I can assure you that the average burden is miles above that and that borne by the highest taxbracket is not even in the same galaxy.
Have you looked closely at who’s uninsured in America? It’s not the poor and oppressed…they have medicaid. It’s mainly a bunch of middle class young people who think they’re invincible and choose not get private insurance and illegal immigrants.

I’ve never shown up to my doctor or hospital and they said they can’t treat me because they’ve reached they’re maximum quota or anything.

Unfortunately Obama has done little to sort out Bush’s mess, particularly in the Middle East, but I hope that he can get these healthcare reforms sorted, it’s disgusting that there is still no national health service in your country.
I can’t understand why you don’t want your taxes to go towards something that will help all like a free health service, I’d much rather see taxes go towards something to make domestic life better instead of it being wasted on bailing out greedy bankers and unwinnable wars in the Middle East. At the end of the day it should go to a vote but I’d much rather have an NHS like in the UK and Canada than the privatised system in the US. I’m not saying our system is perfect but at least public health comes before making money.

Anderson has had 10 fights in the UFC, only 1 has ever gone to a decision."

I’ve actually read a bit on this topic, from sources quite a deal more credible and balanced than Michael Moore. It’s plain fact that any public healthcare system will eventually have to ration care. Plain fact.
You know in England, the average wait time for a herniated disk (an incredibly painful condition) is like six months? And it used to be the case that there was this eye disease that you could not get medication for until you had actually lost vision in (permanently) one eye?
However, I wasn’t even arguing against universal healthcare in the above post, merely pointing out that it would inevitably result in rationing that WE DO NOT experience in America currently.
Some Americans have this ridiculous impression that a public healthcare option would mean they can get as much highly expensive, specialized, and individualized care as they want for free—which is just utterly absurd.
The only reason a public option would be cheaper is because of this rationing, as the private sector is almost always able to provide things more efficiently than the government.
And then God said "Let there be light," to which Chuck Norris replied, "say please."
Being a self professed ignorant Canadian, also being to lazy to look it up
Tell me what rationing you are even talking about.
Frank Mir packed 30+ pounds of solid muscle onto his body in five months. Why hasn't anyone called him out for steroid use? Is it because he never wrestled for Vince McMahon? I give Mir credit for his taste in strippers/wives, not his fighting skills or his personality.
Everything we need is readily available and free with a drug plan

I was speaking generally. It may be the case that you have not been impeded by rationing or felt its effects, but it does go on, in your country and in any nation which has had unversal health care.
It is simply impossible to give everyone all the healthcare they could ever want. Health care is a scarce resource, and all scarce resources are rationed in one way or another. In the United States, most health care is privately financed, and so most rationing is by price: you get what you, or your employer, can afford to insure you for.
When you would really notice rationing is when you have a very difficult and expensive condition to treat.
One where you might live an extra six months at the cost of say $100,000. At some level, any healthcare system must answer the question of how much value it gets for its expense.
And then God said "Let there be light," to which Chuck Norris replied, "say please."
Health care or no health care
You can always fork the 100,000 over yourself. And if you can’t afford it here, you can’t afford it there.

True, but then it’s not really public any more is it? And since you would have no private insurance your expenses would be entirely out of pocket. All i was saying is you must have rationing in a public system, not arguing against it.
And since you seem to advocate wholeheartedly for public health care, I’ll point out that there are other drawbacks beyond just rationing such as lower quality of service (yes, it’s true) and limited freedom of choice.
And then God said "Let there be light," to which Chuck Norris replied, "say please."
quality of service will depend on where you stand
No matter what system you use. If you are standing in South Central with a gun shot wound, do you think you are going to find better service just because you have private health care?
The hospitals and medical facilities in Canada are top of the line. I doubt privatization would improve that.

How come all of the NHL hockey players (whether Canadian or not) go to the Lindros centre in the University Hospital at The University of Western Ontario for sports related injuries if we’re so sub-par. These guys could afford to go anywhere.

it is the place to be
And PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, anyone that reads this, don’t let any American, or anyone for that matter, convince you that our Healthcare, in ANYWAY is inferior to anyones. Its top notch and always will be.
I’ve gotten sick a few times. I have a heart murmur. That’s it. Haven’t used the hospital in over 15 years. See the doctor once a year max. But I still gladly pay for it through my taxes, and honestly have never once thought to myself ‘wow this is such a waste I don’t use this shit’. Tell ya the truth its so little I don’t notice at all.
I’ve never broken anything, but knowing that someone on welfare is getting the treatment they need and can now afford to continue to try to better themselves, or hell even put some Christmas presents under their tree they otherwise couldn’t have afforded, is more then fine by me.
We work as a huge family that way. That’s why we’re always considered to be ‘too nice’, if that even makes sense.

Agreed
NHS > Private care
Give me the British and Canadian systems of healthcare over the American privatised BS anyday.

If you need $100000 dollars of medical care in Canada, that’s what you get. You don’t have to pay extra…and there’s no limit or anything like that.
Myth: Three Americans die every year from rabies. Fact: Four Americans die every year die from rabies.
Depends MM_eh
My aunt just died of cancer a couple weeks ago. It was fast because she didn’t know, and never went for check ups. Well they said there was treatment that was really expensive, they decided it wasn’t worth it to give it to her. She could however pay for it herself. It wasn’t going to make a big enough difference, so she decided not to pay.

I think it has to have a proven success rate, but in general I think I’m correct. I’ve even heard of people being sent to other countries for treatments that have not been set up here, and it’s still paid for.

I agree totally
This system is unbeatable. If for nothing else than peace of mind.

but there is M. At some point, at some level there are always limits. it may be the case that in Canada that limit is very large, which would merely mean that you have spent a great deal in taxes on healthcare. As I said, healthcare is a scarce resource it is not simply unlimited.
I don’t mean that each person has a dollar limit on him, but there are limits to the amount and kinds of treatments you can recieve.
And then God said "Let there be light," to which Chuck Norris replied, "say please."

Haha catch weight for this fight huh?
It’s frustrating to hear a catch weight being discussed for this fight but not for the Bj vs GSP fight. It seems that GSP really needs the conditions to be perfect for him to take a fight.

I wish people would stop talking GSP vs spider
Gsp isnt big enough for him and would get killed maybe even his head kicked off.
Of course you think that, you're a BJ Penn fan
GSP is one of the best P4P fighters on earth for ANYONE to say he stands no chance or would get beat easy is simply out of their mind or blinded by Anderson man love or GSP hate.
GSP has a very good chance at beating Anderson.
gsp would win
look at how fast gsp’s shot is…
Goldie and rogan always say “every fight starts on the feet”
Not GSP’s.

Don’t ever say GSP would get killed.

While I agree...
I also feel like Anderson has evolved a lot since then. It seems like every fight he’s in is a new and more unbeatable Anderson. I swear he can enter the Matrix now.
GSP is my favorite fighter, but I’m not entirely confident he would beat Silva. Man that would be an intense fight to watch. The anticipation alone would drive me crazy.
As a fan, I know what you are talking about
The pre-GSP fight intensity is thick. It’s like I’m his mom or something and if he loses or gets hurt it will directly affect me, some how.
I don’t feel that way before any other fighters, except maybe Cote. But the feeling isn’t as intense for Cote. What a nut hugger I am.

Don’t feel bad jay. When GSP lost to ‘The Terra’, it literally ruined my month.

ignorance is bliss
Can’t count the amount of times I’ve said this, but people ignore facts. GSP was interviewed after 100 and asked about Spider. He simply said he takes the fights Dana asks him to. He didn’t say no. He said whatever Dana puts together he will do. He also said he would just need the appropriate time to learn to fight at a new weight and bulk up properly.
Ooooo what a crime. Wanting to do it right and all.
Keep being ignorant. That way you’re always right.

Too bad BJ wasn't smart enough to stay at his own weight class
Don’t be jealous because Your Pudgy hero can’t put the weight on properly. If GSP does go up in weight he won’t do it at the doughnut shop. BJ sucks.

quick history lesson frosnt1
it was the russians who stopped the nazis at stalingrad and turned the tide of the war not the americans
try free health care b4 u bash it.
ive been enjoying it for 26 years and i have no idea what the fuck u mean by rationed. its not like u get half a cast when u break someting here or that the doctor tells you to walk it off.
the way insurance companies are run in the usa id take my chances with the government system.
exactly
But Americans are under the impression that we have very shoddy practices here. I’ve seen a USA news story where they said we only have 6 Xray machines in all of Canada so its scary to wait for this type of thing.
No jokes.

go cry about healthcare on a heathcare blog!!!!! this is for fucking mixed martial arts!!!!! anderson vs gsp is a fite i pray we all see.
Dude, when you talk to the same people every day you tend to have conversations that will wander.
If you don’t like where the conversation goes, I suggest you learn how to work the scroll button on your mouse. And this is a MMA blog not a whiners blog, you must be lost.

Don't like Soars
It would make my year if both silva and lyoto lost this year, wipe that stupid smug look off this guys face. I know both guys are amazing fighters but to see either guy ko’d out cold lying stiff for a few minutes would make my year…..pretty unlikely though. Anderson is scary good but is also becoming very arrogant and has said its impossible to ko him and his dream fight with be to fight his clone LOL…begging for a ass raping IMO. I would love for gsp to be the guy to humiliate him, gsp out striking him is pretty much impossible but to ground and pound him out rendering him unconscious would be sweet, choking him out would be good also but ko’ing him on the ground…..priceless. I actually don’t hate silva, just like gsp much more and he’s so damn cocky it would do him some good.
I'm proud of myself
…For starting that huge political discussion above, haha…didn’t know it would lead to like 100 comments

Republicans are Poisonous!
As you can all read the history of what’s been posted here, you can see how this thread has been poisoned by Republican negativity. Thank God for President Obama and the Democrats. Our government will become a positive world leader once again.
