What do you want them to do with Kenny?

It’s hard to deny that Kenny is arguably the 2nd best LW in the division…you can’t just match him up against nobodies and let him run through them. If Edgar wins…then give him the next title shot. If Kenny wins then let him get a crack at Sherk, Griffin, Maynard, Sanchez. If Kenny can best Guida, Edgar, and any of those aforementioned fighters decisively then maybe he’s ready to take on BJ again unless someone else comes to the forefront.

Florian Vs.

Sherk…I would love to see that now. Florian has come a super long way since that first fight and I would love to see if he can and has overcome the size advantage that Sherk had first time round. I think Florian at this point schools Sanchez much the way BJ did. Not saying he is as good as BJ but the technical striking that Florian posses at the moment will eat Sanchez alive. The only difference is Florian doesn’tposses the takedown defense that BJ has but Florian’s bjj is far superior to Dirty Sanchez’s bjj and wrestling.

Tyson would not beat Frankie in a rematch, but it would make for another fight of the night. I think Edgar has all the tools to beat Florian although his jits is better. Edgars past with good bjj practitioners have been quite well, Bocek and Franca are obviously no jokes on the ground.

Beating Edgar....

The tools Edgar posses I don’t think beat Florian. Florian is way more technical as a striker, has a great bottom game, and his bjj blows Edgar away. Edgar only beats him in the wrestling. With that in mind I don’t think Edgar can avoid Florians hands,kicks, and slashing elbows while trying to take Kenny down.

Give Edgar some credit...

I believe his boxing is better than Kenny’s and he is pretty elusive defensively on his feet. I do agree Florian’s jits is better but Edgar is really good with wrestling and can scramble with the best of them. Just needs to stay away from the hellbows..
