JUNK'S EYE IS FINE
Seriously read it on wikipedia it says the information the first doctor gave him was incorrect and that he could resume training in a couple of months. Don’t get me wrong I’m glad Jones is finally showing some aggression, i personally hope he wins the show. The guy doesn’t need the money and just fights cause he loves it, what a warrior at 36.

But being a TUF winner at the age of 36 and still being new to the game wont do much for the UFC HW division. 4 years and thats it for Marcus, and I’m being generous at that. Hes good and I like him, but he dont have that much ahead in his career.
And dont put too much stock into Wiki
Mac, yea HW’s last longer but Jones played 7 rough years in the NFL and he was a legit DE. Regardless of what some might think, playing pro football does take a huge tole on your body. Especially defensive ends (not as harsh as RB, OL imo) DE’s are grinding in every play going against huge 6’3 300lb ofensive linemen while making tackles, sacking the QB, (some dropping into coverage) etc…
Syn, I think a 36 year old, ex-NFL player, winning the Ultimate Fighter and living his dream in the UFC (soo many cliches i know) would be a legit draw and an interesting thing to watch. I agree that he probably won’t last long, as i said before, football was probably pretty harsh on his body. It would still be interesting to watch his progression from the NFL, to amatuer MMA/TUF, to legit UFC fighter.

BnB — I’m a fan of Big Marcus and all, I watched him nearly kill someone live in Daytona before TUF and I’ve been rooting for him since. I just think his days in the UFC are numbered. I will watch every single last one of his fights, but if he stays injury/sick free, I see him getting at most 6 fights in.

An episode worth watching (I hope!!), It will be good anyway no matter what just to see Matt shit his pants… Marcus looked pumped! Future opponents of Marcus Jones take note, no pre-fight thrash talk if you wanna go home in one piece…..

Marcus threatening meathead is an understatement, matt is wondering wtf is going on.
Remember matt eye poked junk in his last fight and your man might loose the eye(worst case scenario) or be done fighting for good!! Marcus took it upon himself to freak out and thats it really, looks like a good episode.

I’m not sure what Marcus’ problem is,(he is my fav. fighter on show) but an accidental eye poke doesn’t warrant that kind of response.Maybe he’s just a Big Baby.

Keep in mind...
That could all be just editing, making Marcus look like he went right after Meathead.
The poke in the eye could have been the lead up to tthis reaction.
They could have been saying things back and fourth until Big Baby snapped.
….or might not be editing and Marcus really went after Meathead right away when they got there.
At any rate makes me want to watch!

That guy is a coward and should have been kicked off a long time ago, good for Marcus not only is he sticking up for a classy guy who may have had his career prematurely ended but he’s also getting in the face of the biggest piece of shit on the show.
something is weird
i dont know if is a mistake or what have you….but in Australia i watched the last 2 episodes of this season yesterday…its usually days after the Americans get to see it.
All i will say is the fights are the best of the season.
I knew theyu must have done somthing liek that because i Just watched the first hour on the net

something is really weird.
I watched the episodes here on Fuel TV to, i thought it was going to be another week but stumbled on it by surprise, i had to phone buddies and let them know, after watching i was on the mma sites the next day for all the usual reasons……and saw no info, then to see this header on mmamania blew me away…….this is definately a first for Australia.
And i am always whinging how we are always behind………..and no, i am not a spoiler,
except to say it is great and looking forward to the final.
