It just seems too quick though

I knew War Machine was headed in this direction, it seems too fast though. Hasn’t he skipped a few steps on his way to this? What happened to marrying a hooker, becoming addicted to glue and making an ass of himself at an award show or something? This just seems like it is happening too fast.
